Good weather is coming around now and theres nothing really to look forward to yet, imo. I was wondering if anyone would be interested to get a meet going up in the center of CT. Now im not just saying that because I live here, but its right smack in the middle of a bunch of states. MA, RI, NH, VT, NY and not way off from PA. What I have in mind would be somewhere accessable on the Berlin TPKE as theres some action goin on there, but anywhere slightly off from the Police action as well. If enough people would be interested, and with some help from other CT members, we could get something going. Some thoughts, opinions?

hey guys. looks like some of you guys are actually interested. I havent checked this for awhile since i saw no replys at first. But yeah. as funny as it might sound on the berlin turnpike, if we can get like 20-30 people to meet up it'd be great. I would be nice to see nissans line up for once rather than the usual STI, EVO, and hondas. I think we should contact this section's moderator. He's from middletown CT, he might be able to help us out on this. I'll start up some contact info on Microsoft word so if we do get this going I'll know who to forward emails to.

So far, theres 8 of us including myself that are interested. Heres what im looking to do, Im waiting to get a fairly large list of contacts. How thats going to work, after i get everyone's email, Im going to pick a date probably sometime in June or early July latest. Everyone is going to email me back to see if it conflicts with anything. If like 15+ people can do it, that would be minimum. If not, we can keep switching the date around to be optimal for the majority.

nismodriver28, if we can get the CT nissan owners to crawl out of their cage, thats when we're going to have a decent sized meet. And to have people drive from out of state, definately going to make the meet worthwhile.

We'll see. First we gotta get more people interested.

Oh yeah man, I totally agree with you. Im hoping to get some better details soon, within this week. If was just looking to see how many people were interested. Im going to talk with my good friend tommorow, who's organized many Maxima meets up here before. It would also be good to know how previous "successful" nissan/infiniti meets were done. Im going to start contacting and researching to start get this going.

I am def. game for a meet. Please let me know when and where. If you need a place, I will offer my garage parking lot here in Waterbury. There's tons of space, it's right off the I-84 or rt.8, and the cops won't bug us.

Feel free to email me:[email protected]

that sounds like a good place and idea. I love garage meets because we don't need to worry about the police. and we can do what we like. Lets colaborate and see whats good and how many cars we can hold at the lot.

This thread makes me happy

Since it is Memorial Day weekend, maybe we can get a BBQ going as well? I'd be down for bringing some food. Sunday works best for me.
