today i let a new driver park my 92 infiniti. in the process, she bumped the bottom of the car down pretty hard on the concrete of the driveway. As i was in the process of moving furniture, i did,nt immediately check the car out. about two hours later, i crank mmy car up and a cloud of blue smoke came out the back. i dont really know if it came out of the tailpipe or not. but, as i was backing out i noticed a trail of what i think was oil on the road. i immediately parked the car and looked under it. there was a small leak coming from the bottom. since i have an existing power fluid leak, i was hoping that was it. after that i checked the oil and it was about a quart low, lower than it was after the last check when it was in the normal range. what i would like to know is:1. what may have caused the blue smoke(it does not smoke anymore).

2.what damage could have been done(the oil pan is not leaking)

3. should i put in the shop just to be sure.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you know which area of the underside of the car hit the concrete?

You have the shroud off and you can't pinpoint the leak? Oil pan is the likeliest suspect, and hopefully the blue smoke isn't coming out the tailpipe. That would be much worse.

Hpefullymoke is oil getting on the exhaust manifold from the leak you (she) have created.

If not, something worse has occurred, but being one quart low out of an 6 quart sump will generally not cause any oil significant starvation.
