Simply swapping rims is not going to change the gap. You can get a tire with a higher sidewall but that's not a correct solution.

Here's a easier solution, get coils!

The first two posts were pretty much all you need. There's nothing clean about filling wheel gap with more sidewall. To get the look that I assume you're going for you need coils instead of springs, staggered wheels with an aggressive offset, and slightly stretched tires. With the wheels I've seen you looking at it doesn't seem that cost is really an issue with you, so if you're going to do it, you can do it right.

Thats not going to get you anywhere...

How about helping yourself out and doing a little simple math based on what you already know about the wheels and tires you already have?

go with 245/55/19 to fill that gap. you're going to mess up a bunch of stuff on your car, but it answers your question.

This forum, Is to help and give advice to other members, And nobody said you had to help me, so why the hell jump into My post just to complain and not even provide me with usefull info? lol pointless, Thank you for the advice and the tire sizes blackmobile , Im not tryna be slammed on coils, Id never make it up my own driveway  OH and by the way, Its hepful to take other peoples ideas, and compare them to your own I have formulated my own tire formula, but that doesnt mean I would like to see others ideas on the matter

you shouldn't be so critical of the members trying to help you. they are giving you good information. sorry to say but my response was mostly sarcastic. i do not recommend using the tire size i suggest, like I said, it will likely mess up some things on your car, like ABS, spedometer, odometer among others.

and by the way, i don't see anyone complaining in "your" post.

Demanding "someone just answer your question" doesnt sit well with some, even if you put "lol" at the end to safeguard a defense that you were being sarcastic. Alex already linked you into a few well written threads in your other "Rays 19?" topic that gave you all the info that you need. There is no definitive answer to your question. However if you apply yourself just a tad bit you can get closer to a conclusion based on what you already know about how your wheels and tires fit and the info on threads Alex linked to you.

EDIT: Remember, this post?
AlexM. wrote:The bad thing about TE's and other concave wheels is that when you go with a high offset like that, there is very little to no concavity. But man does that finish look good

If you have some questions about fitment concepts, (thinking about how to go about choosing tires and stuff) check out this writeup I did: post6343335.html#p6343335

This is a little confusing. Not sure if you mean "clean" as in awesome or "clean" as in clean and simple and sleek. You're technically not saying you wanna be slammed but you wanna kill the gap, or how much do you want to decrease the gap.

Everyone answered your question. It's either coils or tires with larger side walls.

^This is key

No one knows how much you want to eliminate the gap or how exactly you want to go about doing it. If you're more specific about what you want people might be able to give you the answer you're looking for.

In reference to your other thread, if you're planning on running 9.5's with an aggressive offset on proper sized tires on lowering springs without any negative camber, it might look a little silly.

<sigh>

you have 19" wheels with 245-35-19's which have a diameter of 25.8". Stock is 235-45-18 with a diameter of 26.3". The 19's you are running are 2.2% faster than factory. If you change to 245-40-19's you will be 1.5% slower than stock but will have a diameter of 26.7". That's +.9" in diameter when compared with your 245-35-19's and would help fill your gap...your car would ride .45" higher but would have .45" less gap....unadjusted numbers for stretch.

Otherwise I suggest coilovers.

All I was asking was what tire setup would everyone recomend for a 19x9.5 Ray on my Altima dropped on ebiach springs, not look it up yourself, Im aloud to ask the public anything I want as long as it doesnt conflict with the rules of nico? Its not a matter of being lazy, its was a public poll, If your gonna get bent from a forum, About anything, thats a little much. You Dont take a poll, with your own answer included

You're the one that doesn't understand how forums work. Forums are meant to serve as a place for people to share ideas and knowledge. You're supposed to help the community grow or move forward. Asking a question that EVERYONE has asked before isn't helping the forums grow.

What seems to be ideal to you is a place where the same questions are repeated over and over again and issues that are one off or that have never been encountered are swamped underneath matters that can easily be found by using the search button. And I know that a lot of people complain about our search engine but you can also use google to search for info on here with the help of keywords. That's what I do anyway.

No one is getting bent, and no one is being rude to you. Everyone is just trying to help you and show you how things work.

Yes, and we can answer however we want. Nobody got butt hurt, it just gets a bit annoying answering the same question, over and over, when your best answer was already given in another thread.

You have to realize that your question wasnt completely clear, and even if it was more clear there IS NOT ONE ANSWER TO THE QUESTION. You really need to take what you find here and apply it to your own application. Measure the gap you want to eliminate on your car, figure out how much sidewall you need to add along with the offset you are running, and go get a tire that achieves your goal. Besides the point that you shouldnt always believe what you read on the internet...

If getting a "clean" or perfect set-up was as easy as posting a question on a forum and getting a straight answer, everyone would have one.

EDIT: Simulpost w/AlexM on the same track FTMFW!

and you should be happy you kept on getting answers after making such inappropriate responses. Theres a reason for the "search" button. If I was like some people on here who don't search, I'd have an extra 30 threads right now asking the same thing in the different form of a question.

255/40/19 like alphapig said. 45 may rub.

I'm gonna go ahead and lock this up because this whole thing is ridiculous. D3 - search the forums and read up on some posts. This topic has been beaten to death on this board. Everyone else - chill a bit. In case you haven't noticed - there have been more than plenty of repeat questions and dead horses beaten.

You can't eat horse meat until it's quite beaten cuz they be tough!

OP, to look at tire diameter aspects use this link: http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

Make sure you understand offsets as well.
