NICO has gone wireless

NICO has gone wireless in Cold_Zero's household. I just picked up a wireless cable router and have everything setup. I have dialed in my Compaq IPAQ on the network.

I will now conduct a test...

Yup, NICO works in the bathroom now. I guess now I can put away my issues of Sport Compact Car and Grass Roots Motorsports from the bathroom. I can enjoy NICO on the comfort of my own bathroom now!

Now I have to figure out how to keep people in my apartment complex from mooching off my wireless network! I don’t think Comcast will like that!

Hey your not the only one i do the same thing with my laptop on my wireless network and I love it great access to friends and great webpages straight from the can

do a google search for "WAP security"

enable MAC address filtering, change the admin password... among other things.

i don't even have cable modem much less wireless network. i wish my parents would come out of their cave and see that we need these things!!! lol

yes change the password on the router.. i used to "war drive" back in the day.. so many ppl leave the defult password on their routers.. so dumb...

I just picked up a wireless rotuer myself. After 3 hours on teh phone with tech support they told me I got a bad one and to take it back.

I can't wait to have it all hooked up.
