Granted, but I'm having the same problem trying to post it in the regular message too, which leads me to wonder about being able to use facebook as image hosting site instead of having to make an account somewhere else.

Reading > me. What size is the image? We're now capped at 640x500 I believe. Anything under this limit I've been able to post fine, but I've never tried from FB.

Beats me then. I've never tried to link images from FB. I don't know that I have many there that would be appropriate for NICO.

Try now:

Well, not letting me add my new sig saying it can't be longer then 500px on any side.

Even tho 600x200 is the allowed.

Fixed. 600x200 was what was allowed on the old forums, so when we imported your signatures, it went through. However, the new board settings were set on 500x500. I just changed it back to 600x200.

wasn't feeling the old layout nor this *new* one. 'Sup with the bland color scheme? Everything's hard to read. That block on the right w/the ads, links takes too much space! Where's my thumbs down icon??

They're still working everything out. There will be some more visual changes. Greg mentioned that the adds on the right will be getting smaller. And I think there will be a new theme applied to adjust some of the default colors. Hang in there.

I like the look, FAR more organized even though it's phpBB. My thoughts;

Pros:

- Quick Reply Button vastly improved.
- Better organization and layout within threads.
- Full Editor a lot more clean and easy to use.
- User navigation improved, being on the right side helps.

Cons:
- Quick reply could use some AJAX, JQuery action for better refresh.
- Where is the quote button?
- The UI needs some work on the forum display portion.
- Forum organization is different so it's taking some getting used to.
- Can't tell when a thread has new posts!

As for the UI, that's all very superficial I understand. It could be as simple as changing the colors. Maybe the font as well. As for the threads not indicating new posts, well, maybe they are and I'm just blind? But I'd say it would be a great idea to make the entire thread row a new color. Making it highlighted. You could play with colors to see what works best. I know that would be a good idea for those like myself with not the best vision.

Overall, I job well done and a step forward in the right direction.

They do indicate new posts. Look at the icon next to the title:

Blue - no new posts
Red - new posts
Scrolling Text - thread is more than one page long
Red Star - you've posted in this thread
Exclamation Mark - Sticky.

Yeah, I see you guys are constantly updating things.

I guess when I first came in and saw that all icons were red, it threw me off. The only suggestion I still have is the same one I made before. Make the entire row a different color for threads that have new posts. It would help differentiate things more. Not a strong color, just make it a light/soft color, it would help I think.

Also, one other thing I just thought of, you guys should make an option within the thread "listing area" that gives the user the ability to mark all threads as read, other forums have that feature, I'm kinda surprised phpBB doesn't. Or maybe it just hasn't been integrated? That would help some with the above issue.

Good job though on everything else thus far.

Also, pictures that are larger than allowable size are scaled down but allow you to click the zoom button to take a look at it in full size.
