Im so frustrated right now im bout to explode. I called in at microsoft and had nothing but recording. They were talking about how they would send me a check for the fix price, but as i was told i had to send it in to them to get it fixed, can any computer place fix it or does it have to be microsoft, i just wanna know cuz i don't wanna waste my whole day trying to get a real person on the phone, pleace nico help.

I'm sure a computer repair shop could do it but why pay them when this is covered under the 360's extended 3 year warranty? Call Microsoft and they will fix it for free...

I was tryin, but when i requested a live person it would try to connect and then hung up, but from what i understand from the recordings they would send me a check to fix it. i dunno im gonna go to a computer shop tomorow and see, i just want it back i played the skate demo at my buds and im addicted.

No you misunderstood the IVR, which incidentally is probably why you got disconnected. It said if you already had your 360 repaired before Microsoft extended the warranty and you had to pay, They would be sending you a check as a refund since the repairs you already paid for are now under warranty. Damn, i feel pretty retarded, thank you. but that was also part of the reason i was mad, i did that and it said something messed up but its worth a shot again, thanks man
