Does anyone hace an upgraded Nico ecu for a 94 Q with tcs that they want to sell? I currently have a JWT programed for nitrous and I would like to put in a standard Nico upgrade. Please let me know if you have one or if you know where I can purchase one.

Thanks

I don't think Robert has any more chips to upgrade 1994+ ECu.

how about a 90? Alot of questions but no responses from the man himself... Might have to wait like a vulture here on the forums but I rather not gain from somebody else's misfortune

Email Wes anyway. You have nothing to lose if you ask.

The NICO ECU's won't disappear completely. I have been working with Robert to take take over the job. Wes and I will most likely be working on getting them "back on the market" in a while. No real ETA yet tho. We will need to get more boards and some other parts fabricated. If you just want/need a single program ECU I will be able to accommodate you in the near future. I'm already set up to do the 90-93 8 bit ECU's with a single program. Just waiting for Robert to complete his last run. I am using a '93 Stage 1 on my '94 and everything works fine.

Wes or I will be posting when information is available. There is a possibility that I'll will be able to sell you my NICO stage 1 ECU after my turbo install is done in a month or two. I may switch back to the stock one. Won't know until I get some A/F ratios logged.

I just picked up a 90 ECU and a 93 ECU fronm the pull-a-part in Birningham. I was going to try them in Lola. She is running a little rich with the NICO ECU, and I want to see if the stock ECU runs rich as well.

Once you get up and running, I will be interested in selling them for cores.

Neither of the cars had TCS.

I also got the TCU out of both cars. I am going to see if they make her shift differently.

A refresher on part numbers would be good. I didn't have a sharpie with me, and I didn't mark which one came from the 93 .

Like QSIguy said we'll be brining them back.

I may work out a deal for you (trade for your nitrous computer).

Don't feel bad I messed around and let 5 local Q's (that had been sitting up in various places around town) disappear. Seems local law enforcement decided to crack down on non-running cars.

Great news on the ECU's though I'mmm Ready

The 94 and later Q used ecu to control AC condenser fan so substituting earlier ecu disables some needed functions, same with egr temp sensor and some weird codes.

Just sub a standard 94 ecu.
