Hey i FINALLY got my hands on a nico ecu and im wondering what everyone else has done with harnessing a switch? Normal on off switch or do i have to get a DPDT. Also where does everyone have there switches? i want to harness mine up either in the center console or by like my right leg. Pics/suggestions would be nice

Mine came with a multi position switch... two pushbuttons with a number in a window that shows the position. Since I don't switch mine often I just routed mine up so that it dangles in the glove compartment.

You just need a SPST switch. It's either on or off (connected or disconnected). Assuming this is a recent ECU mod, if the two wires are disconnected you are in Stage II, if they are connected you are in Stage III. I think this is the same as the old ones but I can only say for sure on the newer ones since I am probably the one that built it. Do not wire anything to these wires, no ground or power, it's just a loop that you either connect or disconnect. If I did it there should be a sticker on the ECU explaining which mode you are in when the wires are connected or disconnected.

Cheers.

I just left my switch tucked in the kickpanel, since I never switched it anyway. Why would I ever want LESS power?

I suppose only if you didn't have good fuel to use. I agree, you really don't even need the switch, you can just crimp or wire nut the two wires together for permanent Stage III or leave them apart and tape them up of you want to just stay in Stage II. Kinda kills the point of having a two way option tho.

I agree with that too...

The switchers are easy enough to make, otherwise there would really be no reason to make them.

-- Since I have no valet key, I wired mine to the trunk pop kill switch in the glovebox. Stage three is the 'on' side. I like to call it the fast button.

That or you could have gotten a Active Suspension switch and rigged that up so the OEM ECU map would be under "N" for Normal and the stage 3 would be under "H" for Hell on wheels. But you would have to somehow mask the car in the center with arrows that point up and down (For the height).

Finally received the TurboControlSwitch. Hopefully I'll have it in by the weekend.

I saw some shift knobs on Gearz (Speed TV) that had a 12 Volt switch built into them. It would be nice to port one of those to the Q but they are a ball style so it would be like a Oldsmobile style (They had automatic shifters with a ball that would have to be pushed down to shift into gear).
