I was thinking the same thing. I think we should move it to Sunday. I think more people will be able to make it on a Sunday.

Yeah, He's right.

I would be more than happy to attend, but I dont get out of work till around 3, so I could be there like 330ish. Since its kinda on my way home, I guess I'll just swing by and see whats going on. If I get there late, any idea where you guys might head to after hooters?

Hopefully its a nice day and I can drop the top :-) And keep me in mind for future Jersey/philadephia meets.

And it might be a good idea to start a thread with a new title saying march 17th. Because by reading the title and the first few posts, you give the impression that it is still on for the 14th.

If everyone has AIM we should do a group chat on AIM sometime in the next week to sew up the details and verify the total number of people who will be attending (at least from the NICO side since this is cross threaded to other car boards). Who is the POC (Point of Contact) for this meet, Geo, NICO Nick? We should decide who is the point man for this and give them our contact information so they can get in touch with us in the event of a change. We should probably let Hooters know we are coming so that when we stroll in as a pack of 20 or more they don't freak out and die, this will also give them a chance to set up a section for us so we aren't all eating on totally different sides of the restaurant. Just a couple of ideas if anyone is interested in them. You might want to cross thread this in the other boards with a link to this thread and make this a sticky until after the event.

thats not a bad idea to let hooters know were coming pretty deep lol..the only thing about that is that its st patty day so it might be alot of ppl there already and they probably wont be able to secure us a spot? but hey its worth a try.. and wat time is this thing going down.. we have to get a set time

Lets stick with the day,or just do sunday,so either way I can let all the other forums I posted in,know about this, because I might have a nasty supra coming from ny,and we have our own coming from ct,so lets nail this day down quick, and get a time so I can get it out,and make any changes that need to be made.

Okay,it better be saturday. I just got off work for it,which I never thought was going to happen haha. So with that being said, what time is everyone going to go,and I'm going to go there tomorrow and check out the girls and so forth. I will talk to them, and see what they say,and let them know we might be coming with a big crowd.

Not to hijack your thread or anything, but since it's so active I figured I'd ask if anyone knows of a black kouki S14, w/ a K-wing, exhaust and black mesh wheels? I see it here near my job in Hockessin, Delaware all the time but it has Jersey plates.

Since it looks like a lot of different car makes are goin I'll head on over. It sucks being the only mitsu in a group of nissians. And a cruse to philly that night sounds awesome if the weather is nice. Despite living so close I've never checked out the car scene there.

For those of you not familiar with the Philly car scene here's a primer for you. Philly is mostly comprised of 2 trains of thoughts; the typical domestic muscle heads, so you will see a ton of F and G bodies and twice as many Rustangs, mostly 5.slows. Then you have the import scene which sadly is more Honda's than anything else, everything from civics, mostly EK's and EG's, to Del Sols, and CRX's. Then you have the typical Integra's and a handful of Preludes. almost all are riced out and the people who drive them in general bring a whole new meaning to ghetto. The mitsu's that are present are 1G and 2G eclipses. VR4's are rare and the EVO's, Rex's and STi's keep to themselves, they tend to be stuck up and only run with themselves. Supra's, NSX's and RX-7's are super rare and if you see one consider yourself lucky. The Nissans that are present are more respectable but sometimes can be a-holes, but in general they are a friendly lot.

The SRT's and Cobalt SS's are present but they are in the minset that they're cars aren't really Cobalt's or Neons so they are really stuck up and get offended if you make them face reality. In general The philly car scene is typical of anywhere else, mostly ricers and muscleheads. If you are where the street racers are have your escape route preplanned or be with someone who knows the routes or just play stupid. Generally speaking as long as you aren't doing anything really stupid or illegal the cops will leave you alone here, Philly PD has more to worry about (like our murder rate) than to harass you. Oh and watch out for th ebikes, as it starts to get nicer more and more street bikes will come out and with the bikes come the 'busa powered Banshee's rolling on 20's

As far as the weather goes, it looks like its supposed to be real nice and close to 60 during the day and low 40's at night.

Im really impressed with the turn out it looks like were going to be getting, and even more excited that the weather will be compliant...

So, as of now its Saturday the 17th at Hooters, if I remember correctly someone already notified Hooters that we are coming...if I'm wrong correct me so I can notify them.

Really looking forward to this meet as I'm sure the amount of cars has surpassed mine and GEO's expectations, since we are kinda in on the organization of this thing together.

Whoever mentioned criusing to Philly after a nice meet and dinner at Hooters really had their thinking cap on. I too am taking off of work for this meet as I am now really excited due to the response I'm getting.

If anyone has any further questions you can contact me personally

Email: [email protected]: 609-458-3071AIM: AF Slacker

*If you guys have any questions or need directions but its not a hard place to MapQuest

Also, sorry for the long post, if anyone has any objections to what I just stated above please let me or GEO ASAP. As it stands now 1:30pm Meet at Hooters. Possibly criuse/ photoshoot. Criuse to Philly. Other ideas are welcome but from reading thats what I've got so far for the day.

I posted them up earlier S13,they are somewhere up in the thread, but in a nutshell get on 295 and head towards maple shade,or just look it up online. Hooters Maple Shade, NJ and they will give you the address and then just mapquest it. It's right off of rte 38. I will be there,so far I'm hoping a couple supras will show up,one is a mkiv if not both, and I know one is really putting down some power,so should be fun. Might have a couple m3's show up too, hopefully and some subarus and evo's,but from what chaotic said, I think he's right on. Not to many have really responded to this on their forums,so they kinda suck. I'm gonna get there around 130pm,and I will call them and let them know we will have some folks coming.

I hate it when that happens. Mine seems to have fallen off and a regular pipe has taken its place.

I have my stock one from my S14, don't know if it will work for you, especially if you have an aftermarket exhaust unless you are using the stocker. I think it might be useable, but then again we may have just ripped it off when we tore the exhaust out. I'll check it out before we head up.

So the time is 13:30 (1:30PM for you civilians) any idea as to a rough estimate to how many we got showing up. Car alarms will hate me, my car is stupid loud.
