Alright guys, I know a lot of us have had to have picked up nicknames in our lives, share the names and the stories. I'll start.

Winsie- no idea, ask BB Turbo

W- best friend (Zach, aka Z) and another friend just kinda started calling me that, I guess my full name is too long

Jack- Given to me by my favourite teacher, though I never had him for a class, he's more of a mentor/older brother to me... short for jack***, and also refers to the movie Fight Club... "I am Jack's smirking revenge."

ritzy/mr ritzy/mr jack ritzy- Given by a chick friend who decided I needed a nickname. It comes from my name sounding "ritzy" and the Jack thing above. She doesn't capitalize, so I won't either. By far the coolest chick I've ever met, and hot too. :D

kid- from the same chick, this is a new one, and since she likes calling me this so much, I call her "chick" now...

ive had a few over my life so far.

Ben Ben the fireman- my older brothers gave me this when i was a kid, i HATED it and they got a kick out of it. i used to play with firetrucks alot.

capucchino, then later on just plain coffee. this one started in gym class. my last name capazo i guess sorta sounds like capucchino, plus im italian so that doesnt help. they finally got tired of saying capucchino and just switched to coffee. i found it amusing.

Neb- most of my friends call me this, i started it i guess. i started putting this on my artwork instead of just plain ben. it stuck.

In high school one of my friends called me "Reno" because it sort of sounds like my last name: Arena. My screen name here (Rockenreno) is a combination of that and the old handle I used to use when playing Total Annihilation online... "TheRock". I gave that up when people kept asking me if I liked the pro wrestler (I think that WW-whatever-letter-it-is-now is dumb). The reason I originally used that nickname is because (1) it sounds cool and (2) it was Mitch Richmond's nickname (star of the 1990's Sacramento Kings).

Now my roomate likes to call me "Benjo" for some reason, but that hasn't caught on so much.

Man, I have so many nicknames. Some of them are just spawns of my name (David): Davey, Div, and Davini to name a few. Others were a bit different, like "Niles". I got this nickname because I had some girls over at my house and they stumbled over my baby picture. They thought I had looked a lot like Niles Crane, from Frasier. Which I guess I did a little. But now I also have Seth as a nickname. Apparently, I resmble the character Seth from The OC, in both looks and personality. So that latched on...

Oh, and I have a theme song too: :DDavey Crockett,Sat on a rocket. His arm fell out of his socket,So he put it in his pocket!

um.....I'm usually just called something demeaning to my intelligence...

seems most here prefer to call me 1der though, even in real life, doesn't bother me much though, it's kinda like calling me hoops because I suck at basketball.

Mom calls me Bubba. I dont know why.

And when I rode motorcycles, someone started calling me Kool Aid. Againg, I dont know why. I am a rather big person, so that is probally why.

Jester, is just the name I adopted for myself for the internet. I got it from Michael Ironside's character on Top Gun.

Snotty -- I had a friggin cold at work one day and could not quit blowing my nose. I was a land surveyor and had to run the instrument for my boss all day; he called me that every day after. I miss that job.....just not the nickname.

Mojoman -- We used to make small movies back in the day. I dressed in a old leather jacket like Beck would wear, aviator glasses, and used a magic marker to put on some lambchops. We didn't plan names for the skit and Mojo was thrown at me...it just fit the look at the moment. That one stuck - MojoMan - but it is more popular now than 8 years ago and that kinda turns me off of it.

I've been "Z" since I was a little kid - it is the first initial of my middle name. Although when living/visiting in a British English speaking country, it is pronounced "Zed". :)
