Nice tire upgrade

After a lot of research, I replaced the Turanzas on my coupe with a set of Falken Ziex ZE 912s a few weeks ago. They're 235/50/ZR17s and they are very impressive! Handling and dry traction are noticeably improved, they fill out the wheelwells a little better, and also offer more rim protection (since they're 1 cm. wider each side). Also, the price was amazing and they even ride better than the stock tires - less harsh over pavement irregularities. I expected them to be superior in handling and traction, but never expected a better ride from Z rated Ultra High Performance tires. In addition to all that, they are top rated by Consumer Reports! The only drawback that I've noticed is a little more noise - a whooshing that sounds like wind noise which varies depending on the road surface. Overall, they're a terrific tire!
