I'm looking for a nice sounding exhaust about 2.5 to 3 inches, but without the giant muffler and buzzy noise. I like the Megan and AMS dual oval setups, but I wanted to see if anyone knew anything about them or any better exhausts. I just don't like the big single cans on each side.

Have you checked out SpecialtyZ exhaust?

May be what your looking for if you wanna avoid the big muffler like those of the HKS high power.

Megans is an ok setup, definitely on the cheap side, if you get it make sure you get a resonated one because otherwise is weill be very raspy. 2.5" is good for NA, anything bigger is counterproductive. Stay away from AMS-Canada (for many reasons)

Yeah, I don't want the raspy sound. I love the sound of the motor and wanna stay as true to it as possible.

The VG in NA form produces a raspy sound, this is why you need to have a resonated system, best thing for you to do is check the sound clips on youtube, lots of guys have sound clips of different setups. If the funds allow I would definitely go with something from SZ, they are awesome!

I've checked out YouTube but can't really tell which sounds are better. I'll probably go through Specialty Z or CZP.

That purchase will be a little way down the road. I'm getting her painted first. Then it's either exhaust or wheels before I put her up for the winter.
