For those of you looking to moderately upgrade the OEM brake system, at NOPI you can get Brembo slotted rotors and Australian ceramic pads.

The Brembos are less expensive than the Power Slots, although sold in pairs. And, besides being genuine Brembos, they seem to have more slots than the Power ones.

The kevlar-ceramic-metal pads are Australian made AXXIS ULTIMATE which are wider than other performance pads (like Rotex); this means more contact area which should make for better braking and uniform wear of the rotor. I also noticed they have a built-in anti-vibration backing.

Good bang for your buck.

i have the ultimates. They dust quite a bit, but it's easy to clean. They are quiet though, and have nice bite.

I've had no problems at any time, up to now the setup is the same or better than with the Rotex pads. The only thing is a bit more dust, as Chingon says; Rotex are cleaner. But for the casual racer, I'll say these are much better.

When these wear down, I'll probably switch to the Kevlar-Metallic type because of the dust...but I'll take them from NOPI too...better priced.

Is that right, $25? Are they genuine Brembo? Any anti-rust coatings available? HeavyThrottle want's $64.50/ea, drilled, slotted, cadmium silver coated. Are Brembo's at *least* as good as OEM? 'cuz those are around $65 ea. Since I'm looking to buy the blanks, if they aren't much better, I'd rather have OEM.

Thanks for the suggestion Julio.-Jamie

Just checked NOPI's site: they're $28.41...Not bad, thanks. Do you think they'd hold up as well as OEM? Daily driver, no track or autox, just hard street driving.

Yes, these are better because of the cooling/cleaning slots, they are original Brembos (used on sport and super sport cars), and they cost less than Nissan rotors. Any other OEM style rotors won't perform like these, I've run them hard and no fade or warp.
