Nice 300ZX Brake Upgrade - Can we use it on our Q's?

Take a look at this upgrade for the 300ZX.

It appears to be a prety good deal.

Especially, if It will work on the Q45.

I wonder if we could use the cross-drilled, slotted rotors from Stillen or BRM with those brakes. If so, I'd see if I could just buy the calipers, hardware and brackets. Hmmm.....wheels turning.

The chap Rob found the 14" big brake kit through before also made up a 13" kit for the fronts and I'm sure could supply for the rear too.

IMO, I quite like Rob's idea of doing the 14" 6 piston setup up front and swapping the front's to the rear with better rotors. Slightly over $2k total, or $1800 just for the front. As with the kit you mention though Jeff, you'd still need to fabricate your own mounting brackets.

That kit is from WILWOOD. WILWOOD HAS A KIT FOR THE Q45.

If you are going to purchase a Wilwood kit, you may as well get the one SPECIFICALLY MADE FOR THE Q45.
