Well... I'm sure I'm not the only one who's gone to auto zone or advanced ect. and they've said, "what year/make/model" and you've said, "don't worry about it..." yet they continue to not understand that they can't find our parts that way...

So... a cross ref for plugs

1999 SAAB 9-3 SE 2.0 L4 B204R EFI TURBO

This is for the copper NGK BCPR7ES-11 plug, which is one heat range colder than the stock plugs.

Hope this helps!

Or you can just tell them 1995 Nissan 240sx, and then get one range colder if you wanna run higher than stock boost.

Going by Meggala...stock - PFR6A-11 hotter - PFR5A-11Cooler - PFR7A-11

The stock plugs on the 95 240's is showing (NGK's site), Standard BKR5ES-11 .044 V-Power BKR5E-11 .044 G-Power Platinum BKR5EGP .044 Laser Platinum PFR5C-11 (* #) .044 OE Laser Iridium IFR5E11 ^ .044 Iridium IX BKR5EIX-11 .044

* Premium Laser Plug # Original Equipment

so one heat range colder would be stock for the RB's.

On rb20's I have used ngk's for a 240sx, 300zx 91+, and even Sentra 1.6. They all worked fine, but the Sentra plugs turned Orange after two weeks, what ever thats souposed to mean. For my rb26, I just got a set of ngk iridium's for a 91+ 300zx tt.

It looks like either Nicks 95 240 BKR6E-11 or the BCPR7ES-11 Saab plug will work. Here is how to desipher the code:http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/t...y.pdf

Thread dia/pitch and resistor type are the same in both plugs

The 240 plug has a projected hex tip and the saab (colder copper version of the stock skyline plat plug) has a protected insulator... so I guess it's a user's judgement call on which they run in their motor.

If you want the PFR6A-11 (~$12 per plug) then you can ref the 1989 NISSAN PULSAR NX SE 1.8 L4 CA18DE EFI DOHC...this is where I sourced the part number that I mentioned earlier b/c you can find the BCPR6ES-11 plug when you use this car/engine combo as well

additional notes: you can buy them at O'reily auto parts or other auto parts... just tell them to give you the NGK 3330 plugs (that's the part# for BCPR7ES-11); they are pregapped. these are the copper ones, cold plugs, great for turbocharged engines, and cheap too. this is what i'm using and all of my friends w/ turbocharged supra and 300z, honda use these.

And for iridium's (after you're tuned) use BKR6EX-11. They're like $6 each on ebay.

I ended up buying the BCPR7ES-11's from http://www.rockauto.com for $19 shipped the other day using the 99 Saab 9-3 Viggen as a ref. Not bad considering I paid $13/per injector for the PFR6A-11's that were in my old motor... seems like a waste since the coppers should work just as well. Just a little FYI...
