Most here recommend the OEM laser platinums.

we know the OEMS work perfect, what else can be expected from plugs?

The Iridium electrode is supposed to last longer than the platinum one. But how long will the threads last in the aluminum head?

Ill let you decide that. I dont plan on having the same plugs for more than 100k so why waste money on iridium?

Actually Iridium plugs cost less. I don't get it if iridium is more precious metal than platinum, why is platinum more expensive plug? thanks!

Plugs have 2 electrodes. The IX iridiums have iridium on the center electrode only; the ground is steel. Factory plugs have platinum on both electrodes. The better IFR5E-11 plugs have iridium on the center and platinum on the ground. But this one costs the same as factory double platinum plugs.
