Here is what is wrong with my beloved Redskins:

Their owner is micro-managing D-Bag
They sign the geriatric, prone to choke, injury magnet Donovan "I like to play the race card" Mcscabb from the Beagles
Their owner
oh and
Their owner

Plus 3/4 of the team are either rookies or need to retire.

As much as I hate to say this, the Jets look like the team to beat this year, to bad their start player has a really bad case of TOitis.

Being that I live in Beagles country (NE Filthy) being a Skins fan is only marginally safer than being a Giants fan which is only marginally safer than being a Cowgirls fan. Either way it'll be interesting to see if Kolb can deliver or if Reid will fall back on the Wildcat frequently or just make Vick the go to guy.

My call for the Superbowl will be Jet's / Vikings.

~sigh~ God I am seriously hoping not to have another unspeakable year like the last one. You know what, lets not even mention last season, its 2010 with a semi fresh start dammit. Did you see the 3rd Ravens PS game? I forget who they played but man did they suck, dropping balls everywhere, missing easy ctaches, and an a-hole move for a t-down :tisk: Keep the 3rd string off the field plz

I think that ever since around when Mcnabb was traded, Sneizer has really let up from micromanaging. Maybe he was actually listening to the fans and the team talk about what a giant p.o.s penishead he is.

2nd, Mcnabb. Even though he has about 0 Superbowl rings, I think he is still a great choice of a QB with alot of experience. I loved Campbell and hated to see him go and Im still blaming the pethetic offensive line for his trade. Mcnabb may also be "old", but not so old that he is way passed his climax of his career, lets just say hes doesnt have as much stamina as he used to. But I mean look at Manning and Favre. (Dont get me started on Favre's played out crap!). Regardless and undeniably, they are great QB's. And I haven't really heard of the race card being played either by him. I think it came up in the early off season about something but I forget.

But I do agree with the organization of the team with Fat Alberts fat asss and all. I mean he has pissed everyone off so much but what he did was almost evil. Hes a pro football player thats here and needs to play football and thats the bottom line. Show us what you get payed for!! Maybe if he didnt cry for oxygen every other play, we would be better than a 4-12 team, god!!!! Aside from that, I can only say that practice makes perfect from what I see from the rest of the team in the preseasin games... They're gettin there.

Im also glad that there are not a whole rack of Tony h0m0 ball cuppers in here, but I feel them coming. I cant wait for the Redskins to crap on Dallas and make them lick their s*** off. Its the 1st game aahhh!

+1 for Shanahann
+1 for Mcnabb
+1 for draft picks
-1 for Haynesworth still here, but hes here

Btw Bmore-coupe, do you listen to 106.7 The Fan? Its great stuff with some Chad and Lavaar antics. That goes for anyone else in the DC urea.

..Hopin for the best. Redskins for life baby.

Looks like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will have their first game of the season blacked out. Is this the new era to look forward to in the NFL?

At least 11 NFL teams could be facing TV blackouts in their home markets as the NFL fights through a downward trend in stadium attendance. A confluence of issues — including a still-struggling economy, the quality of the viewing experience in fans' homes and sustained poor performance among some teams — have come together to keep some teams off local TV. NFL rules require that games be blacked out in the home market if it is not sold out 72 hours prior to kickoff. The league had 22 games (8.6% of the regular season) blacked out last year, a five-year high. And the forecast for the 2010 season is already gloomy in many markets. Blackouts may happen to teams like the Jacksonville Jaguars Detroit Lions Kansas City Chiefs or Oakland Raiders and St. Louis Rams. Plus, maybe blackouts for 2009 playoff teams, the Arizona Cardinals, the Cincinnati Bengals and the San Diego Chargers

I am assuming that it is close to the same station (probably just the Baltimore affiliate), but we have 105.7 The Fan. And yes, I listen to it every day. I don't listen to much more than talk radio.

Ray makes me proud again after Rex Ryan says that him and Ed Reed could not call defensive plays on Hard Knocks last night.

Oh snap son, hail to the Redskins y0!!! It was such a nail biter at the end and sooo lucky. Its about time we see the Readskins play together as a team with much less penalties that always broke us before. I hope alot of the games come out like this this year, especially as a Win. So, to all the homosexual Dallas fans, F*** YOU!!

How did your team do today?

I was gonna scream if the Redskins lost that game. TWO opportunities for interceptions at the end and they failed both times. They are so lucky #71 got a holding call or they would have lost.

Also, Cardinals won today! Even with Anderson as QB!

And my favorite news? SEAHAWKS BEAT 49ERS!

It'll be interesting to see how quickly Iggle fans will boo Kevin Kolb.

ORAKPO IS A MONSTER

We definitely got lucky a few times, but those penalties would have been SACKS if no one was holding Orakpo.

Our offense needs serious work though, and it would help to have another serious wideout. Galloway is like 38 years old (although I'll reserve judgement until I really see him play).

I'm very pleased with the win. Now we need to try and contain Houston (I'm not optimistic) and then we need to go stomp the Rams into paste in two weeks.

The Chefs cooked up some special teams magic. Osgood is sorely missed. Rivers threw 24 passes to WR's, connected on 10. 8 drops. Blame the monsoon weather, blame the first game jitters, blame the communists, whatever.

Interesting there's only 1 NFC East team on this list. I think the beast is in the east again, though Philly did lose 4 starters to injury in the first game.
I think the Giants will quietly win the NFC east.

It's funny how Giants fans think they are the greatest team ever now, after beating a really s*** panthers team.

Lets see how they do sunday night.

Sunday is going to be a great game to watch. Manning Bowl II.

It's also funny how so many people write off the Giants every year, despite their winning the Super Bowl in '08. :naughty:

I don't think they're the greatest team, but I do think they're a good team in a very good division.

Giants are probably going to start strong and narrowly miss at the end... it seems like it.

That would be terrible if they did. If the G-men don't win it, I'd rather see the Redskins do it.

As much as I would love to see the Skins go to the SB, I find it highly unlikely. It's a whole new coaching staff, Mcnabb is a new QB with a team of old dogs that can't be taught new tricks, and the upper management can't seem to keep their noses out the day to day. I've been a Skins fan since I was a little kid and frankly without Joe Gibbs (or someone with his abilities as a head coach) I don't see this team coming close to getting into the Super Bowl anytime soon.

Oh and Kolb will more than likely be sitting out the Eagles/Lions game on Sunday. I think Vick is going to utilize this to the fullest to spring board back into a winning team next season. I don't think Kolb will be able to handle being the primary QB, so I see Vick taking point and control of more than a few games.
