Like I said in my original post, Redskins fans are true fans, we love our team whether they win or lose and we don't just ship when things look bad (which is almost all the time). Give the 'Skins another game or 2 we always start off the season slow and put in a decent effort when it really starts to count. Will we we make it the the bowl? No, but we will more than likely make it to the playoffs only to get snipped because we lost 1 more game than the Beagles or the Cowgirls.
Thats the thing that sucks, I love to hate them, but god they suck. It is truely embarssing to calm myself a redskins fan. I mean I can't even call myself a Nationals fan, they suck ballsacks too! I'll just be happy if they beat the cowgirls...(crossing fingers)
Chaotic_Warlord wrote:As far as that game to the Lions, everyone in the sports world is scratching their heads on that one. We all knew they were bound to win a game sooner or later, but us Skins fans are :facepalm and downright embarrassed that it was us. Because let's face it, who ever gave the Lions their first win in 2 years is going to be the laughing stock for a very long time.
Of course it was us, it was destined to be.

I guess you are not a fan of DeSean Jackson? I think he is the real deal. Also their TE situation looks pretty good with Celek. But ideally the Eagles need a good possession receiver to compliment Jackson.
Kalypso wrote:but I said that because, we also played well last year when we faced winning teams, so the fact that were doing well even with an easy schedule shouldn't downplay the giants ability to perform....

are you out of your mind? damn you're a hater, give teams the respect they deserve.

I didnt say the giants we 'the best ever' but they're certainly a capable team, and they've been more consistent.

they won a superbowl 2 season ago, and just came off an 11-4 season.

if we get the playoffs right we might do it again.
Dude it doesn't matter what your team did last year or the year before that. Every team changes every year. Am I saying the Giants are bad? No, but before you crown them as Superbowl contenders they need to show you something worth noting... THIS YEAR. Teams aren't given respect. They earn respect. Beating the teams they did doesn't show me anything about them. They need to beat elite teams during the regular season, they can't just lose to every decient team in the schedule and expect to win the Superbowl. The Giants schedule is weak bro, there are 5 good teams that you guys play. All you need to do is beat the Eagles once of the two times you play, lose to the other good teams and beat the bad teams and the Giants make the playoffs with a 11-5 record! WOO WHOO!

All I am saying is don't get too excited about the Giants until they beat at least 2 of those 5 teams on their schedule. If not, then they will make the playoffs but they won't get any where.

When teams are "for real" that means they have a legitimate shot at winning it all. As of now the Giants don't. To be fair, it is way to early in the year to declare any team being "for real".

The Bronco's have been a pleasant surprise so far... people around here were saying they'd be lucky to win 3 games all season. Granted, the schedule so far has been relatively easy, but so far they've allowed 16 points in 3 games. Not bad in my book.

I am now going to go throw up and fall asleep for the rest of the day.

I hate to be that guy(I am not the type of fan to call BS on the refs usually), but am I the only one that saw some f***ed up calls, mostly the roughing the passer calls, against the Ravens this week?

It seems that no one is allowed to touch the Golden Boy Tom Brady or else it is an automatic 15 yards. Yet somehow, if the Patriots hit Flacco 3 seconds after he throws (and the play results in another injured player) nothing happens.

I'm not saying that these are the reasons for the loss, but I'm just getting sick of all of the questionable calls whenever we play either the Patriots or the Squeelers. These are big games, let them play football.

Once again, dont flame me for being one of those fans that blames the refs, I understand that blown calls are a part of the sport, but when your coach even gets called for a penalty for saying that a call was bulls***, enough is enough. You dont see these calls when teams are playing other teams with no hope of a post-season.

i could tell from the beginning of the game he wasnt comfortable in the pocket let alone scrambling. i thought we might of had a chance after that 4th down 53 yard pass. but no romo dropped it again throwing 2 of the exact same plays to be incomplete and end the game. im starting to lose faith in romo as much as i hate to say it, we might need t.o back. im hopin romo proves me wrong and gets in a consistant groove sometime soon.

As much of an A** T.O. is. He can catch a ball. And Romo couldnt win a superbowl with T.O., Witten, and Barber. He SUCKS!! He cant read a defense to save his life. He cant throw to save his life. The only thing he seems to be good at is the quarterback sneek.FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU ROMO. bench his a**

just wow on that game. the chargers deffinitly didnt deserve to win the 1st half. but the 2nd half was fantastic. Rivers really impressed me. Hines Ward played amazing. 13 years and he still has it.i honestly thought the chargers were going to make a comback. my mom is a huge chargers fan and turned the game off at the half. i called her and asked her if she was impressed at the 2nd half. she didnt watch it.

Week 4 Notes:

Sunday- Detroit, you guys are fighting. That is the first step. I like where the Lions want to be.- Denver your defense is looking REAL sharp. Cowboys will not make the playoffs. Also do not blame it all on Romo.- I can't tell if Miami is decent, if Buffalo is TERRIBLE or if both teams had off nights.- Tom Brady you are a panzi. Ravens should have a W. The NFL should start changing rules because this is ridiculous. - Sanchez, Sanchez, Sanchez...The honey moon is over my man. When teams score more points on D then on O and they have an offense like the Saints, you will NEVER win. Jets defense not bad.- Pittsburgh finally woke up. I knew they wouldn't lose... again. And if your going to be on Monday Night Raw, you NEED to win on Sunday.- Hey St. Louis this is the NFL, you guys couldn't beat the worst team in the MAC conference right now.- Again the Redskins go out and show fans that they deserve to be one of the worst teams in football.- The Titans next 3 games are; Colts, Patriots and the Jaguars ... A 0-7 start looks VERY probable right now.

Monday- Jared Allen and Antone Winfield are hosses. Brett looked like he can still be the focal point of an offense and Peterson can be the 2nd option. Packers run D looks sharp and does Rodgers. Packers O-line looks like swiss cheese. Also did I say Jared Allen is a hoss? 4.5 sacks!

the GIANTS are 4-0

but we need at least 2 more divisional wins before I can relax. nothing exciting this weekend ( kansas sity ) or next. ( oakland ) but...

we are winning the games were 'supposed to win'

I think romo's problems are being caused by a lack of good solid coaching...

He also needs to lead the team. its not just the coaching, even though i agree they do need to disapline romo a little more. but he needs to take charge of the team.

QFT...he seems like he can get into a groove just he isnt finally getting the ball rolling. ill be quite happy if he has a few decent games in a row. 75 % completion rating and a few td's. with no turnovers.

yeah I agree, honestly when Eli manning started out, he was a gun slinger like Romo also.

But coach coughlin and coach gilbride were able to tone him down, and before long he became and expert at clutch drives and accurate passing.

I dont think wade Phillips has the same impact on Tony.

I think him becoming a leader, means he also needs a solid mentor to lean against and seek guidance from.

Today is a good day...Michael Crabtree finally signs with the 49ers - Good for him he needs to be on a football field

Braylon Edwards has been traded to the Jets- Clevland gets:WR Chansi Stuckey LB Jason Trusnik (AFC special teams player of the week)3rd and 5th round pick (not sure what year/s)- I hope to see Edwards making a diffrence in NY because as a Jet fan I know we need a legitimate #1 target.

I'm there for the 'boys, but you can't put all the blame on Romo. The offensive line played like poop. They can't allow their qb to be sacked like this past Sunday. I give Romo this season [to get on the ball]. After that, I think Jerry needs to find someone better. Preferably some one that knows what down it is.

It could be this year Tito. The 49ers have beaten every team in their division allready and if they do it again, that would be all it takes to make it to the playoffs. Then from there, you never know.

They are one Brett Farve hailmary from being undefeated and beating a currently undefeated (Vikings) team that beat the Packers. The 49ers look good this year. Better then the Rams, Seahawks and Cardinals.

I am routing for them and the Lions.Detroit seems like a miserable place to live right about now, at least a decent football team can cheer up some...
