bill sheridan... actually you're right, I didnt realize that but - he's afraid to blitz for sure.

on the other hand, when you blitz consistently, teams plays scared against you. and there window is always smaller.

WOW... never considered, sheridan has changed the defense

After last nights performance against the Beagles, I have to repost this pic, as I see it more than fitting for this situation.

Week 7 Notes:Hou at Buf, 31-10 F- So Owen Daniels out for the season, Steve Slaton is now benched and backup RB Ryan Moats scored 3 TDs? A WTF for fantasy owners...

Cle at Chi, 6-30 F- I liked the Walter Payton tribute.- It was nice to see Matt Forte back on track - Bears defense looked like the Bears defense of old.

Sea at Dal, 17-38 F- Yay Dallas, number 1 in the division! The NFC East is soo strange this year.- Why does Miles Austin look like the best WR is NFL history?

StL at Det, 17-10 F- Thank GOSH Steven Jackson finnaly scored a TD this week and the Rams got their first victory!

Min at GB, 38-26 F- What a battle! It's official Arron Rodgers is the best QB in football! This guy puts up points all by himself (other then Donald Driver, he is the truth), he even leads the league in rushing yards for QBs. Rodgers gets sacked 6 times (again) and still puts up 287 passing yds, 3tds and 52 rushing yds.- But Brett is still the man. He has more talent around him and that was the difference.

Jac at Ten, 13-30 F- Eh, if you had Chris Johnson or Maurice J.D. on your Fantasy Football team then you were a happy camper.

SF at Ind, 14-18 F- Back to back game Peyton has struggled but Reggie Wayne still looks sharp. Joeseph Addai had more passing TDs then Peyton Manning this week... Another Fantasy WTF moment.- Frank Gore looks like he is healthy again

Den at Bal, 7-30 F- 3rd downs for the Denver defense were terrible. So much for being undefeated.- The Ravens defense FINALLY decided to show up, they were playing like mad men!

Mia at NYJ, 30-25 F- ::sigh::

Oak at SD, 16-24 F- Two Raider receivers ran into each other and they both fell over. This sums up their season.- JaMarcus Russel needs to ride the pine pony. Bruce Gradkowski is actually pretty good.

NYG at Phi, 17-40 F- Well like I said, the Giants will make the playoffs if they beat the teams they are suppose to and they need to beat the Eagles at least once...So far, it doesn't look like they will make it after all.- The Giant's offense will not be this bad the rest of the year, but the Giants defense might just be that bad. At this point the Giants are the 3rd best team in the NFC East.

Atl at NO, 27-35 F- Some great catches in this game, one by Shockey near the sideline and one by Atlanta's CB Grimes. Those guys probably leaped 38+ inches in the air - The Saints at home are ridiculous.- Super high scoring game like I figured.- The Falcons LB who is a Special teams guy who had 2 fumble recoveries really did a tremendous job but it wasn't enough.

the giants are falling apart...

their secondary is trash and our D-line is not doing its job.

new defensive coordinator is taking shots Aswell.... he's not up to the task.

What is up with all these super high scores this year, and it's not like both teams are scoring high, the whole season has been complete blow out after complete blowout, with the exception of 2 teams that are both either really really good or really really bad. The beagles never should have womped on the Giants the way they did, it was as if they were playing the Skins all over again, and me being a Skins fan that hurts.

Speaking of the Skins they are completely falling apart from the inside out, the Management is pathethic, the coaching is laughable and the players only show up for the paycheck anymore. The owners needs to go to Joe Gibb's house and beg for him to come out of retirement on their hands and knees. Then they need to get rid of pretty much everyone and start fresh, maybe in 3 or 4 years we'll be a competitive team like we were 10 years ago.

I really hope that this was not a fluke. The Ravens played a very solid game. I just hope that now they realize that this is what needs to be done. Solid running game+ Solid defense+ no mistakes by Flacco = WIN.

I will say that crowd noise also may have played a factor in this game. As a season ticket holder, that was the loudest game that I have been to this season. I love it.

You're not kidding. The margin of victories are HUGE this year. There are allot of really good teams and there are allot of bad teams. As for the amount of points, that is explained by the constant evolution of football rules. They ALWAYS favor the offense so defense will let up more and more points every year.

I guess you don't remember how bad he was the second time around. 30 - 34. Better then Zorn.

That is a recipe for a win for ANY NFL team. I find that the AFC North is an impossible division to win in. Those teams are all top tier teams (except the Browns).

Tell me about it. Evan the Bengals are for real this year. Palmer is back with something to prove.

the NFL is a dominated by passing offenses right now...

its kinda strange.

Offensive lines are getting better at blocking and secondaries all over the leargue are not as competitive as the receivers that are emerging.

( pass interference penalty calling isn't helping either )

Maybe it's time for the Skins owners to start thinking about offering an NCAA Big 10 coach the head spot with a nice salary and free choice of who should and shouldn't be on the team. After all it's the head coach that does all the work (not taking anything away from QB,Offensive and defensive line coordinators). Any ideas on who they should look at coach wise? I'm liking ND' Weiss, USC's Carroll and Penn States Assistant Coach Johnson (Paterno is just too damn old).

I was kinda mad with this game... We were so close! I mean we could have stopped the Saint's winning record dead in it's tracks. I guess time just wasn't on our side. It was a good game though...

go cowboys this year. started out with no hope. but with austin stepping up i am gaining more confidence in them.the main game that gave me hope was against the falcons. cause the falcons are a good team. as for seattle not so much. little mad about williams contributions. cause most the passes in his area were poor passes by romo. would like him to be a little more involved.

as for the giants i dont think there good they were 5-0 and exclding the cowboys, the teams they played combined for a 1-14 record. and when they played us romo threw 3 interceptions and it still came to the last seconds. as for the last three games they have played against talented teams and lost every one of them. and two were blowouts.

The ONLY time I ever root for the Beagles is when they are playing the Cowgirls, overall I'm disappointed in them. They never should have lost that game, just goes to show that Mcnabb just can't deliver when the game is in the bag.

Oh and I've about had it with the Skins, yesterdays after game shenanigans was just embarassing.

The cowgirls are the most hated team in the entire NFL, followed closely by the Giants and the Falcons. The Cowboys have an ego about them that just makes people hate them, not to mention they have a habit of signing the most arrogant players and criminals (seriously who takes a gun to the airport).

Awesome job by the Cowboys, they almost fell into the trap that 3 or 4 other teams did. But they hung in there and didn't allow the Saints to take back the lead. Terrific defense and a super opportune defense.

Miles Austin for MVP
