did u search in the all motor forum? this is for turbo KA's. decide if u want to keep it normally aspirated or go turbo. i'd say ur next step should be save and get a turbo kit. you have a brand new engine and a turbo will get u more horsepower with low boost than all the bolt ons put together.

you should check out turbokits.com. they sell the turbonetics kit for $4399 and that comes with the fuel system and intercooler. everything you need to make the car go fast.

Start looking in to a turbo kit (N-sport, Turbonetics, ect.) or if you don't quite have the money for that but still want to move forward get a performance clutch to hold more power.

Nitrous Oxide. 75 shot. :D

Have you done an suspension work? That in my opinion is the next step. With the clutch, that is. Then go for the turbo set up.

Power is fine and dandy, but not if the car wont handle. The stock set up is good, but if you are gonna go turbo, I say upgrade.

i agree with jester. you can spend a few bucks on some small suspension and brake upgrades that make the 240 so much funer to drive. 300zx brake upgrade is the cheapest bang for the buck. if your front tie rod bushings are worn (are i am sure they are) you can replace these with just bushings or go with tein tie rods. no bushing with sphereical bearing = ultra tight response= stiff!!!!!!!!!!! ride. you can use the search button for other good chead suspension upgrades.

LONG LIVE THE SEARCH NAZIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

with a built botttom end and a lot of custom work, yah. you will probably have to deal with some lag to get those numbers. to make it streetable will be harder, and to make it emissions legal would be impossible.

Agreed. It is do-able. But that is a lot of money to that kinda power out of that engine.

Heck, I will be happy if I can get 250 to 300 hp. That is plenty fast enough. The older stock 5.0 mustags didn't have but like 240 or so. And they are quick.

ditto on the 250-300 hp goals. Trust me, a 250hp 240sx is very fun to drive (twisties and rain are the best). brings a whole new personality to the car.

With the SOC motor your going to need a built block, head work, cam, any decent TO4 series turbine and quite a bit of boost to see 400. 300 can be had with the turn of the boost knob if you have a good fuel system.

To answer your question best, you need to purchase a fuel system with your turbine kit. You can't run a NA motor on a fuel system designed for forced induction.

No one on this website should pay 4000 bucks for a turbine kit.
