I would do Y-pipe, short throw shifter and Rear sway bar or an exhaust

short throw shifter is a must for a 6MT altima. I just did it, and have played with several mods for this car - this one is one of the best bangs for the buck.

The Y-Pipe is the best bolt-on power adder for the coupe. Total comes out to just above $400 on Racingline. Throw in a DCSports intake to round out the remaining $200 and you have yourself a good set of new mods.

As far as exhausts, I find that the Greddy Spectrum Elite is awesome, and they're cranking out the new SP Elite series exhaust (which is more or less the SE without the blue tips, but some less fancy finishes on the piping and muffler - will be less expensive than the SE). I would do the intake, y-pipe, STS now and the exhaust later. My two cents.

Props on finding a 3.5 6MT! Not at all easy to find.

First one: by far the best! it was my first mod.
Second one: also a good choice even if i dont have the 3.5
Third: I would go custom with a good shop (cost 300-400), it would be cheaper
RSB- been wanting to get it for a while

Other options that are best bang 4 the buck;
light wheels with GOOD TIRES!!!
stillen LW pully
Freaking heavy shift knob(look at my sig!), that n the STS and amsoil transmission fluid makes shifting effortless (I'm not joking, it's like butter and solid!)
Cosmetic:
interior LED's
DIY custom interior
sound system if important

All of this would cost more, but just giving good ideas
