man i agree that concept that actually looks like a skyline should be the next design used. its bad ***, it really looks like its just the next skyline gtr. nissan is kinda going to crap as with all japanese manufactures ever since the death of the real japanese performance cars. i mean why cant they redesign the i-6 to pass emmitions??? why go to a v configuration?? i like the i config. alot more.

but that brings me to the original post saying the next gtr will have avq32,no probly not. i can almost promise it will use the engine being used in the jgtc which is a vq30dett which is a pretty bad *** engine so if they use that it wont be to bad. just as long as its not a v8.

but i think the should redesign the whole skyline family to actually look like the sucsessor of the r34 and then jkeep the gtr in the skyline family. that one design in those pics is bad *** that should be the next gtr no question about it mabey just smooth it out a little. and make sure it has a i-6 of some typoe or at least the vq30. and awd.

ill bet that ugly nissan doesnt go too far, you know nissan gets all kinds of letters and feedback all the time, but i also can tell u that im pretty sure whatever they roll out with production everyone will love it, every once in a while u have to do something radical and risky, sink or swim, set a new standard, and nissan can do that, theyre on the way up in a fast incline, and im sure the sales are outweighing any current complaints of their 04 lineup. my .02

that was not my post, but of another forum member. I think its pretty valid, and I have no doubts it will be so. Porsche is not going to be able to top the next gtr.
Porschephile wrote:Sorry, not gonna happen IMO. Not in stock production form at least. Porsche has been professionally racing, testing, tuning, etc their cars on the nurburgring for the last half a century. It's going to take a lot more than some power and a handful of innovative new-tech items to top the 911 turbo.

I have high hopes for the next GTR, however, I'm not very satisfied with what Mr Ghosn has been doing to Nissan as of late. I wish they would build a lightweight, agile, sleek and powerful GTR. Though, something tells me it will end up being a bulbous, hideous, overweight, although powerful pig of a car. Hopefully Nissan sticks to the specs they are realeasing, and it will give the 911 Turbo, c6 z06, etc some competition. If anything, as much as I hate to admit it being a diehard porsche-o-phile, the c6 z06 is probably going to obliterate the competition, unless companies like Porsche, Ferrari, etc pull out the stops and release some ridiculous stuff.

I still think hyundai is going to pull something crazy out and top every car ever made, and it'll be made completely of ramen.
