Has anyone ever had a set of Nexen N3000 tires on any car you have driven? FYI, I'm not asking this for my M45. I'm looking at a set of wheels & tires on ebay for my Mustang GT convertible. I'll probably buy wheels and pick a different tire.

This is actually a great tire!! I have 255/35/20 on my Q45. This tire is made by Lexani and has a treadwear of 340! The ride is good with this tire also. I know for sure that once these tires are slick, I will be buying the same tires again. I would go for it. I've had Nitto's, Nexen, and Continentals tires and the Nexen are great for the price.

What is the speed rating and load index for this tire (that size above and others)?

Both of those are my tire recommendations for the M!

Yeah, for but for the money, the Nexen tires are a steal. Those recommended tires are great but expensive. The Continental Contact tires I had were BY FAR, the best tires I've purchased. But for the price, you can't turn down the Nexens Treadwear Temp./Traction: 340 AA ALoad: 95Y should be 97Y...sorry

Agreed! The price is low. And, if the price-performance is justified, then by all means, get them!

BTW, we have some members here who have tried the Avon M500 amd M550 tires from Tire Rack. These are also low-cost and recommendable. I have been meaning to give them a shot, but have not done so yet ...

True!

Good! The speed and load ratings are fine for an M.

340 is way too hard a tire.

In tires, you get for what you pay. Especially when they have 10k or 15K miles on them.

That tire isn't too hard. Tires that are rated 280 are too soft and has a short life span. I don't think anyone wants that maxnix. Been there and done that. BTW, the Michelin Pilot Sport tire A/S is almost the best tire that you can purchase but according to your logic, it isn't good because the tire ratings are UTQG Ratings Tread Wear 400 Traction A Temperature and way too hard a tire right?

Any who, the Nexen tire is a great tire to purchase and haven't had any troubles from it. I only ride my rims/tires spring thru late fall and take them back off for the winter.
