Hi I just recently bout a 240 about a month ago and already I want to upgrade my car. I'm really new to this so I dont know technical terms or what to do. I usually work on my own cars so here it goes: I wanted an exhause upgrade first and was looking to the HKS exhaust can anyone tell me where to start though?

What do you mean? Where to start with the exhaust install or what parts to start putting on your car?

You decide on how you're going to start. When I started, it was with a good tune up and making sure my engine was running well before any aftermarket parts to increase power. Before any of my suspension upgrades, I made sure my suspension bushings were replaced and that all of the rubber boots were replaced before going to the other suspension upgrades. Before all that, I made sure my brakes were in good order with lube, new pads and hardware, and a rebuild on all 4 calipers. Make a sensible and logical approach to the madness.

VERY TRUE!I cant tell you how many guys I see comming out adding on all these mods as soon as they buy their cars to get as much power out of it as possible, just to blow a weak engine. Or even boost the car w/out fixing their brakes... No use in going fast if you cant control the car or even stop it... Get your can running right and everything working straight first, then go bigger and faster.

What I do is everytime I have to fix something b/c it is broke, I just buy the best part that I can find to replace it with. So far, I have a really good setup, but im still NA/KA no use in going KA-T if im goign to end up blowing the engine. I need to upgrade the rods and pistons and im going to get the engine rebuilt and ported before I go KA-T since a stock KA really shouldnt hold more than 250-300HP w/out blowing a rod.
