For all you guys that recieved your new rides this week congratulations! You are probably still gracefully rummaging through the owner's manual learning about all the features that the new G37 has to offer. On that note is there anything that you guys have learned about the new G's features that you didn't know before or that you are figuring out since you've had time to play with it? I know alot of people do not have their car yet and if you're like me you like to figure these things out for yourself, but I can't help but know anything and everything that this car can do before I recieve it.

I can't really think of any features that I didn't know about yet.

However, I am finding options that are in the '08 G Goupe Guide' that I don't have.

For instance, the exit assistance. The feature that raises the steering wheel and backs up the seat to let you out. I bought the G with everything, including the 4WAS which I didn't really want. So what's the deal, what's up?

I did find in the manual that http://www.infiniti.com/music-update has a utility for updating missing titles/artists etc... from the CDs you rip on to the hard drive.

Hehe I didn't get a manual and had to figure everything out so far. The manuals coming but not here yet. LOL!

For the people with the manual. How do you turn the beeps on for when you press the button on your door to lock and unlock the doors??? My M does it but the G37 is silent. I would like to hear the beeps so I know for sure that it locked without checking. Let me know. Thanks!

Isn't there a note by entry/exit assistance that states "Automatic Transmission Sedan models"?

My salesman said this was deleted from the coupe in consideration for backseat passengers due to lack of room in the backseat. I think he just made that up. Anyhow, I programmed one memory button for exit and the other for driving. Just don't program your intelligent key beacause it will move your seat to the driving position before you can get in the car.

If it's like the old model, you hold and press at the same time, lock and unlock, and it should change between beeps, and non beeping.

Lemme know if this still works for the 08

I'll double check it when I get home. I do remember it said for Automatic models, but I didn't see the word Sedan in there.

If it does, that's kinda weird because it is a Coupe Specfic start guide... It's not like it said "'08 G Quick Start"

I guess I could do the 2 button thing, but I want to know why it's no in there.

In my '07 G35, I had to go to settings, and then I think comfort/other to change the default setting so that the seat would move back and the steering wheel would move up when I got into the car.

The steering wheel up on exit is only for the Automatic transmission, not the 6MT.

On the sedan only, if my book is correct.

Look at page 18/44 on the G-Coupe Quick Reference guide.

No mention of Sedan.

"Entry/Exit FunctionAutomatic Transmission Vehicles only(if so equipped)Note: The Entry/Exit function is set to OFF as the DEFAULT position in your vehicle at the time of delivery. If bothEntry/Exit functions are turned ON, Seat Synchronization will also be ON.With the transmission in the P (PARK) position, the Memory system can automatically movethe driver’s seat BACKWARD and the steering wheel UP to ease entering and exiting thevehicle (Entry/Exit function)."

Quick Reference guide lies. My fully loaded automatic coupe does not give you the option to raise steering wheel or push seats back on exit as described in the guide. Oh well.
