There is an old saying that pretty much covers this new Citroen C4 Hatch,

"The French copy no one and no one copies the French"

I wish my Versa was that color...I'm a sucker for powder blue or medium blue metalic cars.

How is that a Versa clone? Because it's got four wheels, tires, and doors? There are a lot of differences between the two cars. The design language is entirely different. The Versa isn't the first car ever made to have that small triangular window head of the doors.

BTW, I think the Versa shares a platform with with Renault Megane. The next generation Megane was shown recently. Look it up on Autoblog, it may offer some clues on where the next Versa is headed.

Yes that was my point...it's in French.

And this is what you think the next Versa will look like?

The closest Renault model to the Versa is the Clio. Now if only we could get a Renault Sport model of the versa that would be awesome!

BTW the Clio comes in 3 door and 5 door models

Did I say that? I don't think so. What I said was the new one might provide some hints. The picture you have posted is the out-going Megane. There is a new one out.

I said, incorrectly, that they share the same platform. The "B" platform is the first out of that partnership. And, as Alonsorules correctly pointed out, the B is shared between the Clio and Versa/Tiida. The C, which is derived from the B, underpins the Sentra and Megane. My mistake.

OK I think I have a found a photo of the new French car that feloniusmonk is talking about. It is indeed not at all the same as the outgoing Megaine, the car that the Europeans say "has the nicest butt"

If the next Versa morphs into this one, OuLaLa!
