Got my Extreme Dimensions / Carbon Creations GT Concept Carbon Fiber hood yesterday, Washed up the car a bit today and got a few pictures. Hood sits a little high on the passenger side but it's hardly noticeable.

I really like taking pictures on my driveway if you didn't notice

i kept telling myself that black coupes and carbon fiber hoods dont work...... mostly because i didn't want to spend money... Damn that is pure sex, looks real good. congrats. is it sitting high on the passanger side because of the hood itself? was it made wrong? I feel like the coupes always have this awkward gap near the hood? just me or nissan??

I'm not sure, it was sitting higher but I replaced the nuts that came with it to the stock nuts and it got a bit lower. It might just be my car, I've had issues of my hood being funny due to my hood dampers, they put stress on my hood but I'm not completely positive.

Ya I was debating it but I love the way it turned out.

Thanks everybody

Sorry, I usually try to be correct on my grammar just for the good habit of it. I was writing the thread while uploading pics and responding to emails so I guess I was a bit too sidetracked to notice.

There's no way. I don't want to take any chances messing up this hood. Maybe after I get a little farther with my car but I don't want to set myself back anymore.

Nice rob!! I love the look on your black car and fascia

do you have the stillen hood dampeners? I've been wanting to get them, but are you having probs with them?

If this is going the direction i'm feeling, I would love to see a CF hood and/or trunk on a silver coupe...for obvious reasons

Thanks all.

And no I don't have Stillen Dampers, I have Atlas Dampers (LBC Contest Prize, thanks again Brian) I may get Stillens however because there is a lot of pressure on my hood with these dampers.

My moms house, I don't stay there much but she lives in too nice of a neighborhood to not take pictures there

Damn man that looks sick. The mix of the hood and the eyelids make your car look so pissed off haha

Looks good. The Stillen dampers put alot of pressure on the hood. With me they pushed up so much that I only use one of them.

Ya I was planning on only using one damper but I didn't know if that would cause any problems

Not at all I was just teasing. However, I do get annoyed when people dont know when to say good and when to say well.

I know, I am horrible at saving money. I was planning on it, I had all my money put away, and I wanted to buy a bike so I could save money on gas. $300 on a bike and drive a max of 10miles a day (instead of 30+), I wound up spending a bit over $700 on a bike. and I'm actually going to sell it real soon because I don't ride it.

Then I got a little more money and I bought an intake because it wasn't that much money and I thought it'd be real fun. So I did. Then ED had their open house and I couldn't pass up getting something, so I bought a hood. But these headers and the springs (I would have picked up today if my car was running) I got for free from Michaelthepsycho.

Oh and I'm broke again...

Rob my man, that looks sick! Black coupes & CF hoods FTMFW!!!Darryl's right though...when you get the chance, grab a set of hood pins. Aerocatch is my personal preference as well although they are considerably more expensive. It's such a clean look though. If you do go the Aerocatch route, nab a set of PasswordJDM bracket thingies to give it some extra stability.

Again, nice clean work!

New. Old. Doesn't matter. The first time you cut into your shiny CF hood I guarantee you'll sh*t bricks! Just remember that not having hood pins could be far worse.

I forgot to mention before that I love the way your "eyelids" (I know they're painted on!) flow with the rest of the car and the hood. It's coming together really nicely man!

Thanks I appreciate it (Eric and Blake).

I'm aiming for May to get some aftermarket rims finally. I got the price down to about $2300 so I think I'm set, I just need to start saving
