Newer Frontier radio in older Pathfinder?

I just bought a 1998 Pathfinder with a stock non-bose double din cassette/cd stereo. I want to upgrade, but also want to maintain a factory look. I really like 6-disk in dash MP3 units from the newer Frontiers and Xterras. They look like they will fit and plug right in, but I want to be sure. Anyone know if the newer unit will plug in and fit in my dash? I'd like to find out before droppin the $$ on the new stereo.

As long as they are both bose or non bose they should just plug in no problem.
