Hello everyone,

Just wanted to introduce myself to the forum, I am a Huntsville, AL. native and about to drop the hammer on my first Nissan 240. This will be my third project car and I'm looking forward to researching this huge database.

Welcome to NICO! Nice starting point with that S14. You're right though, we are a huge database of Nissan and Infiniti vehicles. Can't wait to see a build thread!

Very nice car! It looks relatively unmolested, interior seems intact, the body seems fine and could use paint, non-abs model, OBD2 I think. Automatic? Is there a modified exhaust or just a catback and missing heat shields maybe?

Welcome to NICO Club! :dblthumb:

Thanks! The one major thing that got my attention was the straight body and complete interior, the dash wasn't even cracked! All the power options work (minus cruise control). But it will need a fresh color put on in a year or two.

It's a factory manual from what I can tell, when I showed up to look at it there was an RB20DET with manual transmission sitting on the ground next to it.... As far as the exhaust I don't know yet I think it just missing the heat shield on the manifold. It does have a cracked exhaust manifold but it seems somewhat common on the KA24DE, I noticed it on several S13 and S14 cars that I looked at. I have to dive out of town Thursday and wont be back until Sunday, but next weekend I'm going to do a proper physical and see what we have.

I have a 95 and it has a cracked exhaust manifold. I have a header and a plan I'm working on implementing. I'm a little jealous of the body on yours, but I'll be okay! :) Have fun with it. I find the s14 makes for a very rewarding drive.

Are those interceptors in the background? Police own a 240? Huh. Cop around here gave me flack for having an import and suggested a Mustang... as if that was even an option for me. :tisk: Anyway, nice looking s14. You two will be twins, BFFs, double disasters, team smok'em, etc.! :gapteeth: What will be cool is having parts to swap for diagnoses, having hand me downs from upgrades, and having someone to push/ push you back into improving your cars and driving skills. Alabama better brace itself! :dblthumb:

Hahaha, too funny! Yes we will have plenty of parts to swap around, we're already talking about doing different upgrades to trial run on our cars then help the other upgrade. I'm waiting on my q45 brakes to come in and did a LED dashlight upgrade this evening.
