Hey all...

Just picked up a 93 240SX with some buddies of mine... we are going to do the famous SR20DET swap... just looking to see who all knows their stuff in this subject... looks like a good group of guys here... looking forward to talking with you all...

P.S. what kind of track times (1/4) are we looking at here... with stock SR and then upgraded turbos and all those goodies... thanks a ton for the help...

a stock SR will run 14s. Modified theres no way to tell because it depends on your setup, and theres more to running a time than just a turbo. : ) Enjoy your day.

Is it possible for a 300hp S13 Sr20det to run 12's?? In 1/4 mi.

300 at the wheels, yes you can run 12's w/ traction, and some weight reduction

my friends setup:

stock turbo3" downpipe 'open'HPI I/C kitwalboro fuel pumpSpec stage 3 clutchnot sure how much boost (maybe 15?)nitto dr's

he ran a 13 flat at the track. with an LSD or another pass attempt or two he can hit 12's. he has no weight reduction or suspension

I found a guy in maryland who sells front clips for 1500. They are tested before they are shipped out and tahe gy will replace any broken or damaged parts if necessary. http://www.jdmpower.net He doesn't know a whole lot about sr20's so he gets confused on the s13 and s14 motors. I am getting mine for 2000 shipped.

personally i would rather buy from someone i could call up and say hey this isnt working and he would work with me to fix it and know whats goin on. ive seen front clips go for 800-1000 before but in the fine print u get very little and all the wiring is cut and nothing but the engine is included.
