Hi, just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Jason I recently purchased a convertible off Ebay and this is my first Nissan. I have had many cars foreign and domestic, decided to get a 240 because I miss rwd. Plus a light rwd has a lot of possibilities compared to heavy american rwd cars. I swaped a 5speed with the help of your forum, I appreciate it. I had to make some changes to get the cruise to work, but everything else was a breeze. The car is pretty ragged-out so I will be using alot of your advice in the next few months. Thanks in advance.

you'll learn that we are picture whores. ragged or not its a vert and we love to look at them. glad you did the swap so fast i still need to....also theres a registry in the stickies you should add yours. great to have ya!

Man, that car needs some love. Looks pretty old and dusty, but how strong is the engine? BTW If you need any vert specific parts holler at me, I'll try and pluck them from my dead 93. Might take a bit though, someone stole my toolbox so I have to loosen bolts with my teefs

I put the link to it on ebay so you can see it, but it looks better now with carpet and armorall and interior put back together. I burned up the auto trans and the wrecking yard didnt have one, but they did have a manual with all parts for swap for 350.00 so I did it.

welcome to the fold. great deal on your 5-speed conversion. i once had to pay $200 for a 5-speed (transmission only) for my prizm...

if you don't own one, go buy a digital camera and take lots of pictures. we like pictures!
