Newby here!! Got some ??'s

Hello all, I would like to take a second to introduce myself. I am located in KS and just bought an 05 G35 coupe. I sold my GTO to buy the G35. I have had it for 2 weeks now and have no regrets. I love the sleek body lines and smoothness of the car. I bought a black on black with 19's, sunroof and the sport pkg. I was a little nervous at first because I have always been a muscle car fan, but the G35 is fast! Its a totally different kind of fast though....it feels like a 2 stroke motor when it hits the "powerband". I am looking to change the gauges or put an overlay on the exhisting gauges to change the colors and background....does anyone make a product like this? Feel free to give any sorta pointers and advice. This is kinda my hobby, I buy cars and build them how I envision them. For example, my GTO was completley stock and I turned it into a 11 sec car. In the future, I'm looking to add a twin turbo setup to the G. This is my first import car, so i have to learn all new stuff....if it was a musclecar/v8, I wouldn't ask such dumb questions.

There is a guy on another forum that switched all the orange lights to blue. Not an easy task. You'd have to open everything up and switch out all the little orange lights to blue LEDs.

Check out the G-series FAQ (link in my sig) for tons of info on mods and aftermarket sellers. I'm sure we have something for overlays.

Be sure to post pics in the members' rides thread and show off your G!!

...oh, and I'm a prior musclecar guy...I had a 97 Firebird Formula with an LT1 and pretty much every mod except for FI. The G35 is just more fun to drive and to be in!

Not 100% sure about overlays for the gauges...but I know it's a HUGE job and PITA if you want to swap out the lights.
