Just bought friday, and love it!!!!!!! what can be done with little money to a touring edition for a bit more power? its completely stock right now?

congrats on the Z, nissan did a good job with these things out of the box, the first mods tend to be intake and exhaust, then you get the the plenums, pulleys, headers etc, the gains will be mild if you want power save your pennies for forced induction!

haha congrats on the car man! I just sold mine to do a S14 project. N/A mods, crawford plenum, and no cats will net you the biggest gains for the buck and n/a power that you can immediately feel. Also the 3.9 r&p gear from Central 20 or 350EVO would be another good investment. Everything else n/a wise is a waste unless you get something like the UTEC to really retune your n/a mods, believe me I did all the n/a mods lol. Last thing I can think of is a lightweight flywheel & clutch to free up some ponies and let the engine rev faster. The Tilton clutch and flywheel is the craziest setup but will make the vq35 literally rev like a motorcycle and put a lot more power to the ground at the expense of driveability as it's an on/off type clutch, not really any slippage.

My .02's worth.
