My 2001 QX4 needs tires. Is it possible or recommended to go larger, say 255/65/17 instead of the stock 245/65/17? I want something more aggressive, but not sure if this will impact performance. Anyone here have a certain tire they like on their truck?

That small of an increase will be practically un-noticeable. The height is the same, only difference is the width will be bigger by 10 mm at the widest point. Handling will probably be slightly improved. I say go for it!
