Did you do a search? They will stone you here for asking questions that may have already been answered. If you can't find anything keep askin.I'll try though...Will it rev passed 3000rpm's? If not check your MAFS.Did you set your timing?Check for vacum leaks and all I'm sure everyone else with have a few ideas.

It is always better to answer the question than to give the old "search" response. I find the search to be unhelpful in some cases (particularly troubleshooting).

My two best idea's:-The Mass AirFlow Sensor is either not hooked up correctly or is not working at all. The engine is programed to run to a certain rpm point without the MAFS. Check wiring and test voltage while blowing through the sensor.-the Throttle Possision Sensor is either not hooked up or not working correctly. A while back I forgot to re-calibrate my TPS when I installed my Greddy Emanage which ment no throttle signal going to the ecu. This caused very sporatic idling and it ran very rich. After I figured this out on the dyno power shot from 165whp to 208whp @ 7psi on the T28.

Hope you can figure it out.

MAFS is working although was wondering if any of you know how to test it? My brother took it off while the car was running and said that wasn't the case. Timing seems to be right. Would the car run/drive if the timing was off? Will double check TPS and vaccum hoses. Any more ideas would help. thanks guys

I'm not a big fan of the search either... You can start the car with the MAFS unplugged but I thought if you unplugged it while it was running it would cut off, correct me if I'm wrong. If I'm right that could be why he said it wasn't the MAFS when he unplugged it, there would be no change. If it's disconected it will run like crap and won't rev passed 3k. Made the mistake of not hooking it up after working on something and went for a drive, I spent a week troubleshouting.

*Also http://www.heavythrottle.com has a guide on their site about installing an SR, also has troubleshooting tips.*check it out.

Yeah my brother unplugged it while it was running and the car still ran. (MAFS that is) is it suppose to run or cut off?? If i can remember I think my bro said that if it's good it's suppose to keep running. Correct me if I am wrong though. Haven't had a chance to check timing but hopefully this weekend we can get to it. I'll keep ya posted

Well I just tested mine for you and the car was still running once unplugged, but when I plugged it back up(car still running) the car sort of stuttered like it was going to die and then caught itself. I don't recomend doing that too often. Easy way is: Start the car, try to rev past 3k. If your MAFS is not working your car will sound like its hitting the rev limiter, only it will be at 3k.But let us know what happens with the timing.
