Hi all!

My name's Frank. I'm from Canada and I currently own 2 GTI-R.

I have one beast for summertime (called P1), and one daily driver (you guessed it... called P2).

P1 was bought in April 2006 with minor modifications (catback, turbo timer and 16" wheels). Since then its been through alot of little and big things, including an engine rebuild last spring (2009). I hope to get about 400hp when I get it dynoed/tuned in spring 2010.

P1's current mods include:- Engine rebuild with CP 87mm 8.5:1, Tomei 1.2mm head gasket- Denso 660cc's, Walbro 255, Z32 fuel filter- Z32 MAF with A'pexi filter- Garrett GT3071R 0.86AR @11psi only- Blitz Super Sound DD blow off valve- eBay front mount intercooler kit- 3" AM Performance downpipe, decat and catback with a Dynomax SuperTurbo muffler- Retuned ECU (daughterboard) by Almasi Tuning- ACT NS1-HDSS clutch kit (Superstreet disc + HD pressure plate)- BC Racing coilvers- Optima redtop battery in the trunk- Removed AC- 330mm suede steering wheel- A'pexi Super AVC-R- HKS turbo timer- Rota Slipstream 16" with Falken Azenis 205-40-16- Cleared blinkers all around- Firehawk HID- Recaro front seats

P2 was bought on boxing day 2009 for dirt cheap (750$CAD!!!) and is currently under a little new ownership maintenance (brakes, seals, plugs, oils, coolant, stuff like that). Should be ready to hit the snow next week! Oh yeah!!

P2's current mods include:- A'pexi filter- HKS SSQV blow off valve- Walbro 255- 5Zigen ProRacer catback- No name 14" wheels- R33 GTR driver seat- Momo steering with with quick release hub- Blitz FATT-DC II turbo timer- KYB AGX suspension (half way busted)- ACT 6 puck clutch with HD pressure plate

Well, here are a few pictures of my 2 beasts

P2 in the garage, just got in!

P2 nasty engine bay

P2's China wheels, strange pattern if you ask me

P2's inside

P2's new driver seat (R33 GT-R) ... freebie in the trunk!

Well that's about it for now...

I think there's a better chance of getting a skyline here in the states though.

Right. I guess technically a person could try the R33 since they're sorta legal. It's still a bit grey though.

Yeah JDM in the states are quite uncommon and from what I know there seems to be many of them in FL. Is there a loophole in the FL law?

Here a few more shots of P2

Well Florida just has safety inspection. Other than that they really don't care from what I understand. TX is pretty open too as long as you can pass emissions if you're in or around the bigger cities.

The r33 is what was actually crash tested by Motorex before they went all shady so the chassis is dot approved. On the other hand the headlights and probably a bunch of other little things like that aren't. So the first cop that wants to be a jerk can nail you.

If a person could get a left hand drive pulsar then one could probably drive it around just fine since the fanbois aren't all over them. It'd just be another random old hot hatch.

Wish I had it in LHD. I like the fact that RHD is more adds to the unique factor but an LHD GTI-R is very uncommon, and the price goes with that.

Fun cars still :D
