I have an 08 Versa S sedan that appears to have factory installed connectors for fog lights. I know from reading past posts that the S isn't supposed to be prewired so my question is...since I have the connectors under the headlamps, should I assume that the rest of the wiring and relays are there to support a factory switch? Also, does anyone know if the S models are prewired for the factory tweeter location above the small, triangular A pillar windows?

The pre-wiring for the tweeters does exist, another S owner discovered it recently installing something in their V.

If the fog light wiring is there, that's a new addition for '08...

Anyone else with an '08 S want to look and confirm?

I recently did the mesh behind my grill and while I had it off I did look for the wiring for the fogs and did not see it. I saw it mentioned that in the SL they were just taped down inside the engine compartment, I didn't see it = (

maybe I'll have to go back and look again..

Actually I have a sedan but I think it might have to do with what options you have on your S, like maybe having ABS, cruise or the power package will also include the wiring for fogs and possibly other things. Just my guess.

I have the power package with cruise...no abs...and I have been working but I will go outside right now and check if I have the darn wires....

....and the answer is....sonofagun..they are there....they were just hiding REALLY well....which makes my adding fog mod SO much easier not having to drill through the darn firewall..

My 2004 Nissan Frontier also had the wires for the Fog Lamps behind each headlight. They were in fact hooked up. However, I had to purchase Fog Lamps (plugged right into the connectors behind the headlights) a Relay (under the hood fusebox) and replace my Steering Wheel Stem to actually use them.

So I guess we "S" people can can enjoy some of the same options that the "SL" people have...

I've looked and looked and I don't see the wires. I have an '08 S hatch with power package, no cruse, and no ABS. Maybe having the cruse has something to do with it. Or maybe I'm looking i the wrong spot. If someone can put up a picture of where they are taped to I'll look. But even when installing my HID's I had to pull out the headlamp and I didn't see it.

CodeRed, if you have them, the driver's side wire will be the easier of the two to locate. Open your hood and just behind the headlight, there should be a ground wire screwed to the radiator support. Follow that wire to where it joins with two other wires. One of those two wires goes straight down to where your bumper support meets the body of the car - this is the left purple and black fog wires bundled up with what looks like blue tape with a yellow and black connector on the end. It is held to the body there with a plastic clip. Good luck.

Ok, bringing this thread back from the beyond to let all you Versa S owners know that some(if not all)of you are totally pre-wired for fog lights. This includes relays, fuses and connectors for the OEM combo switch that you need to replace.

BTW: I have an aftermarket wiring harnes with relay and a OEM style switch that fits in the blank space near the mirror adjuster if anyone is interested in buying them.
