You're in the same boat I'm in.
Small engine, only slight potential.
The best you can do for starters would be basic bolt ons such as a cold air intake and headers. I have a CA intake on my 06 Sentra (1.8l) and noticed a nice throttle responce, but only slight power or fuel economy gains. I plan on installing headers along with new exhaust. The good new is parts are cheap for the B14. You could focus on the suspension and improve the handling using lowering springs, front and rear strut tower braces along with a decent wheel/tire combo.

Well if you found a turbo kit for the car, you'll definitely have to upgrade your fuel system as well. That means a high flow fuel pump, and some sort of way to get more fuel to the engine (larger injectors with engine management, or rising rate fuel pressure regulator for low boost setups).
What type of transmission do you have?

You might want to start a new thread about all that.
