newbie to the J route

I bought my J bout a month ago. so far iv replaced 3 injectors. i run super in it so i hoe it will stop burning them out! any suggestions? any way, i was wondering if there was any cheap tricks to make her a lil more punchy. nt bad 4 an auto v6 bt...still. my last car was a 99 stang gt with a 5 speed so yea lol. bt so far love the J!

Not much you can do with the injectors other than running some Redline SL1 through to keep the clogs away. Pepboys carries it.The good ole Ethanol we have here in Texas eats em up pretty good.

thanx. ill try that. now a few new probs have aroused. first the headlights. iv herd thats prob a relay, weres it located? and... i put in an aftermarket radio. it workd fine for bout a week then today it popd a fuse. now the clock doesnt work, the radio wont come on and the abs light is on. wut the heck is the deal? iv checkd all the fuses and there all fine. idk wut to do. need some help please!

Not sure about the radio but the one time my ABS light came on the ABS pump was buzzing under the hood after shutting the engine off.A few taps from my leatherman stopped the buzzing and the light hasn't came on since

thanx for the help. got those probs fixd. bt last night it broke 2 or more piston rods. idk wut happnd. it was full of oil. my guess is that the oil pump went out. now the oil is leaking out the back and side of the motor. lookd for a rod sticking out bt to much crap in the way. was driving and it started loosing power so i gave her some gas, it made the burt rod bearing clatter then ...boomb! ti died and the dash lit up. i towd it home and it will start but only go up to 1 grand or so on the floor. and clatters BAD. o well! Im gna sell the body. lol im 19 and soo tired of cars breaking down on me. out of 23 cars and trucks iv had mabe 3 good ones. how much is the care worth with a toasted engine?

Sounds like either you dont know how to drive, or dont know how to choose a reliable old car if you have already killed over 20 cars at your age.Master of disaster.....may want to stick with a Schwinn with your luck!!! Are you related to "unknown 007" ????

hahahaha nah. i guess iv had a lot of ok cars. i just never keep them for more than a few months or so. the bad ones are always fixer upers and i try to make daily drivers out of them. bt this car was sposd to be a good one. o well. ill part it out and probley make more than i paid for it.
