newbie to the formus. SR20 reliable?

are the sr20det reliable, assuming that everything stock... cuz this friend i know, he worked for alots shops, told me that sr20 have alots reliablity issues. is that true? wut are somthing to watch out for and how prevent problems? Cuz i just got enough money to do a swap, and the 240 will be my daily driver.. i dont want problems.

mines been holding up so far... I love mines, no complaints whatsoever. I just make sure I do all the regular maintainance on it when I'm supposed to.

they are reliable as any honda motor as long as it is well maintained

my only gripe about the SR is the rocker arms. WTF was nissan thinking on that one. they are the weakest link in the SR, stock or built, from my experience. you can do stuff to help, rocker arm stoppers, solid lifters etc but they can and will break even with all of that insurance.

i have 10k miles on a built SR. only issues are the transmission and fuggin rocker arms.
