Newbie that needs help

I just got mah car last month and it has 163k miles, I was wondering if it's worth fixing up mah engine or should i do a dohc swap? And if it's cool to fix up mah sohc what should do first? Sorry for askin, u guys probably r like f*** this newbie. Well, for those who help thanks!

take out your engine

take everything out

buy a new version of everything that you took out ( except the crank... you can keep the crank)

bore the engine just SLIGHTLY to get out all the bumps and grinds

put everything back together

get a new clutch and flywheel

put the engine back in

your good to go for another 5 years or so

If you are interested in SOHC power, talk to ADAMHU, he is one of the moderators at nico. He has one killer single cam. Try searchs on motor rebuilding for some good tech info.
