Hello all . Just traded the 05 subie sti for a g35 4d. I didnt want to do too many mods but wanted so things to consider. Been checking out the plenum spacer. I assume it gives a larger intake charge? I dont want the car as load as my old subie but cant help being a tuner.

I want 20" forged wheels, prolly j-lines(wanted them on the subie but went with gold advan rs)

would like some intake mods and little power gains.

possibly suspension but only if it's soft.

--The subie was all done up and was too stiff and abrasive for me now(gettin older)

please give me good sites to go and some advice thx!

Since we aren't members at the forum you linked your pics from, they won't post. Either that, or their servers don't permit hotlinking.

I did the plenum spacer, and modded my engine cover, so it still fits with the 5/8" spacer. It is the best bang for your buck. JWT pop charger and stillen both make a good intake, and the Z-Tube is a necessity. They are really easy to install, and if you would like pics of it, there is an article in the forum index/FAQ thread.

Welcome to Nico!! Yeah, the G Sedan is a great car for us older guys who need the room and comfort, yet don't want to give up the power and handling and modding!!!I have the Z-tube, K&N, removed the baffle from the air box. Next, I need the spacer and grounding kit. Kenrik recently posted a thread about the blox spacer for $89....sounds like a steal!

Oh, I got one of my Z-tubes from my local Nissan dealer for $15. They had a couple of take-offs from two new Z's that they added CAI to.So, you might want to call some of your Nissan part's depts. The Z-tube gives you a few more HP because it DOESN"T have the baffles attached to it like the G-tube does.

I looked at that site and I couldn't tell whether the grounding wire was for specific years or all years. Do you happen to know?

Oh, I'm a noob too, but welcome, and great ride there socalred.

Here is a link to a thread re: the grounding kit. I do not have one either, but apparently, those who have it like it.zerothread/303650

Your questioned is answered further down in the linked thread.
