Hi everyone. New here just figured I would say hello. Just bought my 3.5 a couple of weeks ago and just getting into the mod aspect of the coupe. This car is awesome I'm coming from a 1995 Acura Integra LS that I drove for the last 7 years.. so you could understand my excitement.

he was talking about the rear decal type badge that says five star. just take some floss and work in back and forth while pulling down and it will come right off. then just pull the glue back with your fingers and your done. if you have any film left you can use hot water or goo gone and it'll come right up and be clean.

I have a question... Okay I would love to have new kicks for my altima.. but I don't want new wheels if my car is going to look all jacked up and way high off the ground. I drove a lowered car for years but I'm worried about lowering my altima. When drive it, it already feels low (just not looking at it, hehe). I feel as though I would smack the heck out of the front end on everything.

Not if you drive careful and take speed bumps and such at an angle. Me, along with a few other people, are rocking the prokit that puts the front in 1.5 inches closer to the ground, and the STILLEN front fascia that puts us another 2 inches closer. So all in all, Im about 4.5 inches off the ground right now, and I rarely scrape.

I lowered my AC with Eibach prokit as well, but unlike adidas, I have the OEM bumper. I have not scrape my car yet, and I am not the most careful person with the speed bumps. If I don't have any issues with a lowered car in Mexico , you should be fine.

Great that is good to hear. Well thanks guys I will keep this info in mind. I have to get over my monthly payment shock, then I'll get into that. I'm glad I found this forum.. everyone's coupes look awesome. Where I live so far no one even knows what my car is until they look at the Altima stamp, I was worried.

welcome~! sweet ride!

i recommend bumperplugs.com if you want to remove the front license plate holder... the bumper plugs are a color matched.. (u tell them the color u want.. they even have a chart to match your color to their list) and for abour $30 u can have something to make those holes dissapear and its better than having to buy a new front fascia or have an auto body shop fill and paint that area lol

here is a pic of what my front end looks like with them on:

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the license plate required in the front and rear? At least that's what I remember reading in the DMV handbook.

That is depending on what state you live in. In Georgia you are only required to have the license plate in the rear.

Hello Lady!Welcome to the club!

Dont worry about getting the car "jacked up"... on 245/35/20s with a 20" wheel at 38+ offset theres a few of us with those and the Eibach kit...

Get LOW!

Yep in GA, just the back must be there.

How does everybody feel about the newest generation 350z wheels on a coupe? Does anyone have that done? My favorite part of the Z is the wheels.. so I was wondering if it would look good.

there's a fella from canada that has the 06+ Z wheels on his Altima. They look okay, but they look better on the Z.

Yes, just like that. I think they look quite good.. lowered more of course. But I can see that the coupe may need a bigger wheel. ... ehh that still looks good.

Hey there, Im a little late in posting this, as Im not on a whole lot, but I wanted to say hi, one lady Altima Coupe owner to another.

I love the color choice you made. If they couldn't get me the Dark Slate, that was my next color choice. Very nice.

I also have the Prokit on my car and it does make a difference. Unfortunately, I have not posted any pics yet of the car lowered, but I hate SPEED BUMPS! I am learning to be very patient and slow down very well before attempting to go over them. They are really bad in the grocery store parking lots here.

Anywho, welcome again and we all look forward to watching what you do with your beautiful ride.

Tanya

I love the Slate Grey too. The first coupe I drove was slate grey, but I wasn't quite financially sound at that time so faith bought me to the precision the second go around.

Well I've driven a lowered car since I had my license and I was very good at driving it low but I still scraped my front end.. the teg's got the bruises to prove it. I think I could be very upset at myself if I scraped but my altima. The road where I live SUCK and they won't be fixed anytime soon.

Thanks for the welcome ladies and gents I can't wait to start..eee...
