Hey everyone I'm new to the forums. I have a 04 G35 Sedan and want to make a few upgrades. The lights I'd like to be brighter HID (if that's possible) and I'm wondering how much bigger I can get tires and rims without hurting the ride or transmission?

I have taken a few photos, so hope this helps. Any advice is welcome. Thanks!

Welcome to NICO!

I wouldn't put higher wattage bulbs in...however, I'm pretty sure you can upgrade to the 06 lights which have HID.

Post up in the tires and wheels forum for the rim size question...

Here is a shot of the headlights on the '04. You think the ones for the '06 will fit this??

Is this something I can try as a first timer or should I just "Call the Man" and save myself some anguish?

Thanks,

Check out the G-Series FAQ (link in my sig). I think there is a thread that shows what you need to do. It's really just a removal/replacement. The only downside is the cost of the 06 unit...
