Hi all.....I have been looking to buy a G35 for 1 year and finally have the cash. Looking at 06 and 07's with Premium pkg,Sport Pkg, AT. The only problem I having is finding the Blue Athens Pearl Met. color....may hav eto settle for Lakeshore Slate, but even that is a hard color to find.

I am also trying to buy from a PP....I hate stealerships..

Found a 06 with 19K miles on her for $20K....It has a Premium pkg and he said he would through in an aftermarket Sport Susp. kit. ????? I need to find out what brand..bad connection on cell.

If there is anything to look out for....I would appreciate any help. Looking forward to visiting this forum. I am a modaloholic...so what ever I buy will change.

07 Sedans are the new generation, but not the 07 Coupes.

There are lots of things possible for mods and we'd love to help you spend your hard earned cash.

Let us know when you pull the trigger...

That looks like a good deal. As others said no problems at all with 05+.

get extended warranties on it just in case. a couple common problems that come to mind are door lock, window motor, cd player, clicking axle...

I've been thinking of selling, just havn't given it enough thought but man oh man if you wanted a stick I have the G for you!My car:'06 MT coupeblk/blkfully loaded (sport, prem, aero, etc)tint, billet grills, cat-back, rotors, black corners, CAI, etcThe best part: 9k on the car and only 1k on the engine (dealer/warranty swap)

Too many cars and not enough of a commute is the reason for the low miles.Just not sure if/when I'm gonna try selling it.

Thanks but I drive too much for a 6MT. Looking for an AT. Turns out the Slate Blue G35 with only 19K miles on it for $20K was a 6MT also. However just found a Beige (Serrengety $@#*) with Blk interior and everything Prem/Sport/Nav for $21K....Only down side is the Blk leather...really hot here in SoCal and 36K miles. Owner kept this baby maintained and in the garage....Going to test drive today. Will report back.

OK I test drove the car and it had issues. Maybe it was just a matter of replacing the tires, but they guy denied anything was wrong. Then as I looked closer there were some bad door dings down to the metal.

Like I said I am really picky. Told the guy I was not interested....again.

Went back to the Lakeshore Blue 06 G35 Sport in Oceanside with only 4K miles on it. Signed the papers today and will pick up tomorrow. Pics to come....she is sweat!!!!

Here's some info for you:

03-04 models have issues with the stereo deck/AC board failing. I've heard about brake dust problems, but that could be the sedans only.

05-06 6MT's have the "Revup" engine. They changed the rules on reporting HP, so the conservative rating is 298; but it's actually increased between 15 and 20 HP. The increase in power is mainly due to revisions made to the variable valve timing on the exhaust side of the valvetrain, allowing the new engine to rev past the 7k redline of former models, all the way up to a newly set 7,500 RPM.

The REVUP engine has had oil consumption problems on some, but no official TSB has been released.
