newbie questions??

i have a 95 240SX SE.. it keeps overheating and i have a couple of questions for that...

first... is the big fan connected to the belt the clutch fan? second.. when is the radiator fan suppose to move.. and how do you know if you have to replace it.?? thanks guys =)

first...are you talking about the fan on crank pulley? that ones to cool the radiator and what not

second...if its like my s13 the little electric radiator fan turns on when its overheating...i forget the temp. it turns on at

uhmm from what i can see i think its the cooling fan.. but is that also the clutch fan?? its the one connected with like four bolts and is hooked onto the drive belt... and the radiator fan i was wondering will it come on if you have the AC on?

Give it a try and see if the fans come on. My dads BMW is like that where the fans turn on when the ac is on. On my old crx the electric fans turned on when the gauge got to about 3/4. IF the fans dont work first check the fuse in the fuse box.

i checked into this as well, the ac did seem to make it come on.
