Newbie questions

I've been in the Honda scene for a few years and I want to get out. Hondas have become too played/riced out, I'm ready for a real RWD Japanese sports car. So I'm thinking 95-98 240SX. I have already decided I need to do a swap. I know SR20DETs are very popular. What kind of mods are needed to fit an S14 SR20DET? Is it just wiring? Also what modifications do people usually do to the engine before dropping it in? What other kinds of swaps are popular?

Before anyone flames you (been popular as of late) I will point out that many of these questions have been answered on our various boards.try our search function for answer to most of your questions first.

But there are many knowledgable PPL here that will be able to answer additional questions you may have.

Be prepared to get flamed!!!! We have had an infux of Honda owners filing in here lately.... and certain membrs get their panties all bunched up because of it. The 95-98 240sx (s14) is a great car with virtually limitless potential. The SR swap is becoming just as over-played as anything Honda. Well, truth be told, not many people ACTUALLY do the swap... but a LOT of people are "planning" to do it. It's not cool to be a 240 owner and keep your KA I guess.

Another swap that gets regular discussion is the CA18DET. Welcome to NICO... and don't get scared off by an a$$ load of us telling you to go back to Honda!! Also... the search function is a good tool to start with... as is reading the archives to get general info.

Get a Supra, or Z.A 240 is 4 cylinders of fun, not a real Japanese sports car (well in Japan I guess it is, but we're not there...)
