I just recently purchased an 03 G35 Sedan. I love it. Anyhow I do have a few of issues. One the clock is very dim. I can barely see it. I have the illumination all the way up. Are there any aftermarket clocks available? Second since the car is rear wheel drive how does it handle in the snow? Any suggestions? Third what is the quicket, easiest, least expensive way to squeeze extra horsepower? Fourth, what is the best site for aftermarket parts? Any help would be appreciated.

Can't really tell but it appears that the passenger side light may be out. The lighting is really faint. Also do the cold air intakes help? Sorry for all the questions.

Welcome to NICO.

I don't know of any aftermarket clocks that will fit. You're basically stuck with it. The car handles alright in the snow. A lot of it depends on the tires. A good all weather tire will handle alright, throw a a couple of 40lb bacgs of sand in the trunk and it will help, but here in Indy you shouldn't have too much of a problem. There are snow tires available as well if you feel the need.

The Cold Air Intake does make a difference, it is noticeable and the car does sound better in my opinion. It is usually a cheap and easy mod to do. There are a ton of threads on here about which intake to go with and the pros and cons of them all. So, do a few searches and you should you have all the answers you could want regarding intakes.

Where about in Indy do you live?

Thanks for the help. I am going to get the bulbs today because I cant really see the time at all and I find it hard to believe that with the overall quality of the car the clock is that poorly lit. I just want to say thanks for the replies. I love the car more than I thought I would. Now I am looking for some good M3 style mirrors.

I split my time between McCordsville and Shelbyville.

to install the bulbs....

take a flat head screwdriver or something like that.... or something plastic that is like a flat head and wrap it in a shop towel or something...stick it the bottom right or left side of the trim around the clock and slowly pry it up...it takes a little bit of work but will come up...then when you have one side up do the same to the other side and it will pull right out. then disconnect the wires for the security light and move the trim piece out of the way. now unscrew the two screws on the clock and disconnect the wires. look on the back of the clock...the bulbs screw out to the left and will fall out if you turn the clock over. insert the new bulbs and turn to the right...and re install everything
