Sorry if trivial... Whenever I start up my M35, the Climate Control system is set to off. When I turn it on, the temp goes to 75 degrees, and I have to reset to 69. Any way to have it just turn on automagically...at 69 degrees? Also, my homelink and analog clock are both inactive... are they on the same fuse by any chance? Thanks.

My auto climate comes on at whatever I left it on last. Do you turn it off every time you shut down the car?

Your climate settings should stay where you left them last.If your clock and homelink is not working you need to take it in to the dealer to have them fix it.I know that 08' model is under warranty.

Yes, sorry... it is a 2008 M35. I turn the car off with the climate on 69... when I turn the car back on, the climate system is off. When I turn the climate system back on, it reverts back to 75. Very annoying.

Thanks.

Climate control "Off", non-dual zone and Temp of 75 are the "cold boot" settings for the climate control. Are you loosing power somewhere that is causing things to reset to their default settings?

sounds like something is wrong... I would take it in. If they tell you it is normal, ask to see one of the other 08's on the lot to see if it does the same thing.

Great input.. thanks. I was waiting for my plates to come in before dumping the car on them for service... just wanted to make sure it wasn't my stupidity getting in the way.

I had the same problem when i bought my 2008. It turns out that the dealer did not finish all the prep on the car. The fuse that controlled the clock, hoemlink and climate was not installed. There were spare fuses and I was able to use a spare fuse that was the proper size.

Hope this helps.

You nailed it... car was a xfer from another dealer and inserting the fuse was lost in translation. Silly little fuse.
