NEWBIE QUESTIONS ABOUT THE "JOURNEY PACKAGE"

i'll cut straight to the point;

first, everytime i turn the car on, the rear fold down TV comes down automatically and i have to push it back in so i can see out of my rear-view mirror. is there a setting i can choose so that the TV only comes down when i request it?

second: my remote controll doesn't work at all. i replaced the batteries and still the remote doesn't work. does it need to be synchronized or something? i'm thinking about going back to the dealership but i'd prefer to find out if im doing something wrong before i take it back to the dealer.

mind everyone that i just picked up the car a few days ago, hence the barrage of questions. any help would be greatly appriciated!

In the navigation screen, I think, there is an option for rear display fold down. If you take the dot out of that option it will not open every time you start the car. To flip it down you just go back to that screen, when in park of course, and select it again to fold it down.

For the remote, I'm not too sure about that, I have not even put a DVD or a CD for that matter in my car.

by no means do u want 2 physically push the screen back in. go 2 settings on the controller then display. there's an option to have the rear screen open automatically when the car starts or not.

yes, the remote has to be programmed....take it back to the dealer.
